Internet Trade Bureau a scam?
Anybody using Internet Trade Bureau? I signed up for it about a month ago and put their seal on my order page. The last couple days my sales have nosedived and I started looking for a reason. I discovered that when you click on the "Internet Trade Bureau" seal to check my site you get the message "cannot connect to database".
When I go directly to their site and try to log on I also get the same error message. I can't say for sure if this is the cause of my problem with sales but, in any case, having a "trustworthiness" seal that brings up an error message is far more negative than not having a seal!
Needless to say, I am removing the seal and cancelling my membership. But I'm curious if anyone knows anything about this outfit. I think it's probably just another fly-by-night outfit scamming merchants.
