Shame this resource box!

I just got started today doing article marketing over ezinearticles (yes, yes, I know... but better late than never!) and would really appreciate some feedback on my resource box.

Do you feel it has enough "pull" ?
What do you think could be improved?

And most importantly ... why ?!?

Here's my resource box at the moment:

Alexandre Valois is a successful lifestyle coach and the owner of MindFortunes.com, helping spa owners, massage therapists, hypnotherapists and other self-help professionals build a thriving business and boost their profits up to 50% using their own and unique product line. Visit (Url) for a free sampler package and see what it can do for you!

    Alexandre,

I would start the resource box with:
"Visit (Url) for a free sampler package....." before going on to describe yourself.

Readers are interested on what's in it for them. After reading your article they may not be interested to read about who wrote it. But if you start the resource box by showing them a benefit, then you've got their attention and also their email if they click and subscribe to your list.

I'd offer a free ebook or hypnosis mp3 etc early in your resource box to get click throughs.

After introducing yourself, I'd put something like...

To discover how Alexandre can help you grow your business, and receive a free 'success mindset' mp3 visit MindFortunes.com today.

I agree with both of the above and might shorten the amount of text used.

Most people including myself always go directly to the link so yes, suggestions above are correct.. Link first before introduction...

Another tip would be to think of the resource box as a headline. It has to capture attention, arouse curiosity, and mention the benefits.

So yes, mentioning your name, your accomplishments, what you do, etc. isn't a recommended way to write your resource box.
