Clickbank and Affiliate in U.K.

First of all, I'm a blogger in the U.S. with an affiliate lined up in the U.K. I'm not worried about working with other affiliates at this point - maybe someday of course.

So here are my q's:

1. This person in the U.K. wants to sell in pounds and I want to get paid in dollars. Can Clickbank handle this?

2. If not, is there a good affiliate vendor which can do this?

When you buy anything off Clickbank from the UK the payment page automatically changes to pounds although you can change it to dollars if you wish before payment.

You would be paid in dollars regardless of what a purchaser pays with.

Thx. Sorry, I didn't word my question well:

What I want to be able to do is to put a price on the ebook in pounds. Can I do this with Clickbank? Can you set the price of your product in pounds?

      Thx...

I'm not a vendor, but yes, I believe so. However, you can't prevent customers paying in other supported currencies if they so choose. Clickbank transacts in a number of different currencies, making its default selection according to the geolocation of the customer upon their visit to the payment page: UK visitors see GBP, US see USD, those from Japan see JPY, Australians see AUD, etc.

But at least pricing in GBP means that UK customers - Clickbank obviously having selected "GBP" as their default currency - will see your product's price as a nice round number (if that's your plan) - the one you actually had "written on the label" rather than a slightly random one that's been calculated based off the current exchange rate.

Well, that would work if it's true.

I appreciate what the person above wrote - it was very helpful. But he sounded a little tenuous. Can I get a more definitive answer from someone who has seen it in action?
