Do You Spend All Day Looking At WSOs?

It just blows me away that there are between 2,000 - 6,000 people viewing the WSO area at any given time. WOW!

Are you one of them? If so, perhaps you could enlighten me...

Do you go to the WSO area to look for anything specifically? Or is it just a matter of browsing through to see what catches your eye?

Do you even bother to look at the 2nd or 3rd pages? Or do you get bored halfway through the 1st page results?

Thanks for your feedback!

There is a lot of ways people end up in the WSO forum

    1. People who are browsing through the search function (i happen to see more wso results when i search the forum) end up there
    2. Affiliates who are looking to promote an offer checking out forums
    3. Guests that came from affiliate links who are checking up specific offers
    4. Product owners themselves
    5. People like me who usually check out the marketplace once a day to see what cool offers are there

So yea.. I am one of them, and many others could be from one of the above :-)

No, I don't spend all day looking at WSOs, but when I get into the War Room, that's a different story!

Part of the reason that it seems there are so many people viewing the WSO
section is the fact that many people leave the WSO section open in one
browser tab while doing other things in other browser tabs.

Another reason is the fact that vendors and affiliates are sending out
    emails to their lists.

I rarely visit the WSO forum because I have a program that allows me to
search for items I need in that section. I just enter a keyword/phrase and
it returns results containing all the related products for the keyword or phrase.

    [/end shameless plug]
    Have a Great Day!

No. Maybe once or twice a week, but that's it. Most of the stuff in there feels a little over-hyped and it's hard to weed out the good ones. (Which are usually services, not magic "make $1,863.97 in 6 hours" pills.)

I am the exact same. Very hard to find and weed out the good WSOs. Most are like, " Magic button press It one time and make 500,000,000$ Don't press twice." very hyped stuff. Being in the War Room is great tho

I only go in when I'm looking for something specific. For example for a hot-minute I was interested in "auto-blogging" so I did some research on the main forum and then went to the WSO to run some queries. Found some stuff.

Then I went to the War Room and found the basic version of what I was about to buy for free. Woohoo!

I will tell you this. Do not, and I mean do NOT, under no certain terms waltz into the WSO section when you've been drinking. I also recommend that you don't Drink and GoDaddy.

The WSO section is like a reference section in the bookstore for me. I go there to buy something when I need to learn something that is going to benefit my business. If your going in there looking for an entire "business model" I think you'll be sorely disappointed.

Great advice BloggingPro. No, I don't spend all day looking at WSOs. I rarely go to that forum and when I do, it's to get ideas on how to be a better writer.

I do go in to actually look at other people's product and like to see how they are doing with their business and also how creative they are with their products. Most of them have same ideas but different way in presenting them. Some offer services while others offer software. Is just like a curious step in to the market to see what's going on. Eventually I think I am better offin this section of the forum.

Now wait a minute... where are you getting the "trying" from? LOL. I thought I was supposed to buy it and then a magical leprechaun appears and does ALL the work for me!

Well that's what the sales letter said...!

Everything needs work, it seems as if you can depend on one set of system on technique that would make money making easier but to depend on it, work has to be done to set it up and some certain standards are required. Sales letters should never mislead!

Yes there are a lot of people using the WSO section and buying WSOs and yes, I am one of them. It's my job, kind of

I am kind of addicted to buying WSOs. So that is what I do all day long. Then I read them and write a review about the good ones.

Mostly I look at the newly released stuff but sometimes I dig way into it to see whether I missed a good one.

As mentioned earlier the WSO section is great for finding product ideas. But I don't spend more than 15 minutes at any given time.

    Except...

When I'm researching, I download the thread and read it later, whilst making notes.

I'll tell you that I spent tons of money buying stuff that wasn't as good for $97 as the warriorplus stuff is for $9. And with this forum you get good honest reviews before you buy instead of sale pitches disguised as reviews. Still, gotta be careful to not just keep buying but to take action on what you buy. That's the real key.

I've been spending more and more time here.
Bought a couple wso and now the junk email comes everyday. Several lists promoting the same wsos. and most of them are so lame. They dont even talk about what they are selling. It's some magic formula to make millions of dollars. Get real. Just because you are charging $10 doesnt mean people will buy what you are selling.

And every single one has dozens of testimonials. After a while you notice that the testimonials are all from people that got "advanced review copies" or are from the same people over and over.

Maybe I'll put up a post where I will charge to leave testimonials for wsos. Actually I think thats how you get a review copy. if you get known as a testimonial whore you probably get approached.

Not me! I try to avoid all distractions and the WSOs are some of those distractions I must avoid. Stop chasing the "shiny new thing" and focus on one thing at a time, for a long time. That is my key to success.

    Except there aren't.

Here is how "currently viewing" stats work.

Whenever you click a link that leads to a particular forum, a timer gets updated. Everyone who has clicked a link to that forum in the last X number of minutes is listed as "currently viewing."

The WSO forum has a longer timer than the other forums. So while it's not really any more active than the rest of the forum, the "currently viewing" list is a lot longer.

Now, here's the thing: you can still do an apples to apples comparison of WSO viewers at time A to WSO viewers at time B. If the number of people viewing the WSO forum now is higher, there really are more people viewing it.

But you can't compare that number to who's on the main IM forum. You can't say "there are more people viewing the WSO forum than that other forum," because the forums have different timers. In fact, because the timers on each forum might be different, you can't compare the "currently viewing" numbers among ANY of the subforums.

And you can't use that number to mean anything real. 4,000 people viewing means 4,000 different people have clicked links to the WSO forum in the past X number of minutes.

Sometimes I get on that list because someone says "Hey, here's a great product about this and that," and I'm interested so I click their link... only to find a cloaked WSO Pro affiliate link for something I already have. Now I'm on that list for however long, and I am not actually in the WSO forum at all. I'm certainly not browsing anything.

It's usually worth your time to figure out what a number really means before you start using it to make any decisions.

I think part of the popularity is the strong attraction it has for users of all experience. For someone who is used to paying 67 and 97 dollars for products the forum is an unbelievable bargain. For the more experienced it is a great learning tool as mentioned above to see what others are doing, how they are doing it and what is hot at the moment.

Yet it is just as good for a beginner, since they can find out about any aspect of im without spending a fortune. Then there are people like me who use it as a outsourcing service. And of course we can't forget all the marketers trying to make a buck or two on the forum.

Neat place with lots of great people, why not spend some time here.

While not all offers are made the same, there are a strong amount of WSOs that give you the most bang for your buck. There are quality services in there that you can get at a warrior's discount instead of visiting the main site itself and paying full price.

I definitely browse the forum often, especially when I'm looking to save time by outsourcing some work, provided the seller makes it worth the money. More often than not, there's something in particular I'm looking for, but if there's an appealing headline while I'm surfing, I'll check it out.

I used to go there to get more information on how to make money online, but I recently stopped because I only read and didn't take action at all. I have one website, but I didn't do enough keyword research to have people actually search for the keywords to my website. So I decided to stop looking for more WSOs and start doing some more thorough keyword research before I start my next website.

I am still a noob at every aspect of IM so right now I guess the only way to learn and improve is to make some major mistakes.

No. Like everything put aside a certain amount of time to WSO. You can learn a lot, by different ideas and also able to tweak your own business with something that may not crossed your mind. Thanks for post

Also remembering that if you don't watch the time you can be there for hours and not achieve anything - have done that in the past.

I barely spend check WSO section as I don't have much time for it. But I do check once a week maybe to checkout if there is any cool tools available. I literally hate those money making scheme WSO as those are utter craps. Tools, plugins and softwares are the only thing that I like to invest my money in.

I signed up here at the Warrior Forum and was absent for years because I forgot I had an account. Since I've recently gotten back into, I have become somewhat obsessed with the WSO section. I no doubt spend hours in there. I browse way past the first page and look for like quick cash methods and stuff like that since I already have a blog that generates me long-term, residual income. There's a lot of good stuff in there I would have never thought of. A lot of stuff in there is really cheap, too.

I used to go in there quite the bit when I first joined this forum, then I remember one of the more expeirenced warriors said something about, "The goal of Internet Marketing is to become a full time Internet Marketer, NOT a full time customer of one."

Since then I decide that "I" to was going to become a full time Internet marketer and not just an internet marketers customer.

The only time that I go in there is when I am looking for something specific on a certain topic or area of my business I am wanting to improve.

I will do research first using the search function in the main forums first because usually you can get great information for free.

if I dont find that information I will do one of 2 things.

    1) I will search for someone who I have bought from in the past (that I now trust because they proved to me their systems work) and see if they have anything on the subject.

    2) if I don't find information that way, then I will just do a search for that specific topic.

I find that #2 helps because scanning down the page and seeing all the headlines is what can pull you in, and some of them are good, real good. They get me excited about what might be possible and oh darn there goes some money. lol

So I feel that using the search function filters out alot of things that could otherwise be distracting.

    Thanks
