Commission Junction -Good or not so?

I'm considering using Commission Junction because they have several merchants that fit my sites. I've had an account there for a year or so but only sold several items and did not promote the items well. I had about 75.00 in commissions built up but since they were not with three different types of payments (something like that) I never received a payout. Over time CJ took fees out until there is nothing left.
Not sure if I should utilize CJ and really promote the items or just stick with Amazon and some individual merchants.

Anyone having good experiences with CJ and do you think it is a good one to go with?
Thanks.

I have had good results with Commission Junction and Shareasale, less with Linkshare.

One site I started running this past January offers from 3 different CJ merchants plus Amazon, Linkshare and Shareasale merchants.

Since the first of the year, I have generated from this site:
    CommisionJunction $99
    ShareASale $274
    LinkShare $27
    Amazon $9
    Jan1-Sept30 total: $409

Of course, it largely depends on the traffic and merchants you're working with.

From the look of this ShareASale seems better for THIS site. But that's because of the specific merchants in question on the site in question.

It's not big money per se, but this is one website.
