i agree, that's the safe way without loosing your account

How many updates you can post per day is also matter with your message. If update contains URL, 1-3 post is OK. You can send more post with normal message, 5-10 is safe.

I currently use FAAP. It is really powerful. It is really worth the price.

Well Facebook ain't twitter so you got to limit your postings.. I have also read that posting too many updates can lead to a ban.. so be careful and post useful content and not just links in your updates..

facebook did'nt limit the posts, u can do as much you want but posting more frequent is not the way u attain success. Focus on quality. Posting more frequent does not raise the red falag that shows warning.

I don't think there is no such limit unless or until you try to spam it ( Many of the big fans pages have hundreds of thousands of posts everyday , i didn't see any issues on there)

Thank you joseomiller for shedding light on Facebook and managing multiple accounts. Seems like Facebook is pretty sofisticated.

I usually post once in the morning time and once in the afternoon. My sales tactic for fan page fans is the following. Give them 3-5 good quality posts with no spam sales. Then offer them a affiliate offer. I feel this is the best way not to lose fans and actually get conversions! Hope this helps.

I agree that 3 is a good number. I've tried 5 to 10 and have gotten several accounts banned. I don't know what people are talking about that you can do as much as you want. They obviously haven't tried.

I have posted many posts without any problems but none of them contained links/urls.

I think it depends on your audience and if you get a lot of reports by the other users who may get upset if you send out a lot of promotional posts that are merely adverising.

My rule of thumb on social networks is to give 95% value without any url or promotional link attached and only 5% of the time promote.

It makes the 5% much more responsive when you have given so much value most of the time.

I have tried and I do it everyday. See my earlier post with more information on that. I also do this on multiple fan pages and my own page. Never a single problem.

You have to also mix in other activities beside just posting to Fan Pages. You should post nice inspiring quotes, cute animal photos and popular youtube videos. Facebook will like you because you are being seen as an active account. Other people will comment and like your post.

I spend my day job as the Director of Marketing for an event company. I took the position in August. From June to July they had 19,000 post views. July to August they had 34,000 ... Aug - Sept (my first month) I was able to increase post views to 440,000. Sept - Oct I was able to get them to 630,000. Oct to Nov - 880,000. And this most recent month there were (currently) 1,232,000 - 1.2 million post views. In the same amount of time since August fans increased from 19,000 to 29,000 and there are currently over 27,000 active fans. Each post view averages 12,000.

It wasn't the number of post I placed on site -- it was the quality of the post and how it related to the information they were seeking. But more importantly, it was the interaction with the current fans that made the biggest difference. One to One marketing, even while in the middle of thousands, matters greatly. As does staying on message. There's a lot more to it than this, but do this and you'll do okay.

As a result sales for the last event increased 45% above every other event held since opening (over a 3 year period).

I've been thinking of joining the War Room and putting together a WSO in order to shed more light on what I've done and how I've been able to achieve these results - and how others can as well ... I think it would be valuable information, but it wouldn't be the type of WSO that promises what everyone here seems to want most - immediate money.

  • You can post infinitely. 3-5x/day has worked best for my numerous pages. You really can't post too much if it's a) good quality and b) spaced out at least 30-45 minutes between posts.

You have to realize that when you post on a fan page, say with 10,000 fans, only 5% or so will see that status update. Much more will see it if it gets a ton of likes/comments, but your entire fan base will never all see any one status update (unless it really does get an ungodly amount of likes and goes viral)

A lot of the views of your status updates will be from friends of your fans, who will see it in their news feed because it was liked/commented on by their friends. So you really won't be pissing off your fans by posting a lot of good content. You will however piss people off if you just post spam constantly

If you want to get a lot more FB fans, FB ads a great way to do it and I talked more about that in this post: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5144751
