Aweber/MailChimp/Constant Contact/icontact rec?

Hey Warriors,

I have several large lists and currently use Aweber.

Although I see that many in my niche (and internet marketers too) use others including:

MailChimp/Constant Contact/icontact....

Is one better than the others? More cost effective (b/c I'm paying a lot right now)?

And do the others let you import lists from excel (like my current list downloaded from Aweber)?

...and lastly, are there any great courses out there about how to convert the heck out of your list and manage a list well (including topics like conversions, relationship building, split tests, etc)?

Thanks a lot!

You can import to MailChimp, and it's free for up to 2,000 contacts.

It's a bit fiddly to use, but once you get used to it you can't beat the price!

Mailchimp does not allow affiliate marketing - it is in their TOS...

Constant Contact is priced similar to Aweber (I use both)...

Yes, you can easily and quickly import your Aweber list to Constant Contact...

Here are some pros of Constant Contact
    -Awesome Templates
    -Amazing Deliverability
-Text to Join (wow!) (text 'Coby' to 22828 to join my newsletter )
-Join my mailing list app for Facebook (this is slick)

Here are some cons when compared to Aweber
-Web forms are tricky at Constant Contact when compared to Aweber
-Not integrated with as many applications like Aweber

    Hope this helps

For myself this post and especially this little thread highlight a couple of specific problems about iContact which, between them, would exclude it from my own list of possibilities.

This thread, and this thread, and this thread explain some of the many risks and problems over using Mailchimp. Also, if you do any affiliate marketing (or any of the many other things they don't like), even if you don't do it/them at Mailchimp, you can still lose your account and your list(s) there, as explained here.

Does anyone have a sample form to use in constant contact. I need something simpler that can be used on a cell phone.
