Amazon and Squidoo?

Hey Warriors,

Just a quick question, are you as an affiliate for Amazon allowed to embed your affiliate links to product in Squidoo Lenses?

I've read somewhere on a different forum that Amazon doesn't allow it and you will have your account banned. I'm not sure if this is true, Squidoo offers it's own set of modules to promote Amazon products, but it will be under their affiliate link. I was wondering if it was allowed by Squidoo and Amazon if associates were able to embed their own affiliate links as a text or image on Squidoo Lenses.. ?

If anyone has experience, positive or negative, please share. I'm very skeptical.

    It's fine. There's a section in Squidoo for Amazon products

        I use Amazon on Squdioo with my own amazon id, and I make my ads in Squidoo, they take 50% i take the remaining 4% Works fine!

          Both Amazon & Squidoo allow links to Amazon and they are not limited to text links - you can do image links, as well.

          If you're using your own Amazon ID, Squidoo is NOT taking 50% of your commissions. They only keep half if you're using their Squidoo modules and their affiliate ID.
