Howdy Warriors,
I have a question about PLR rights. If I use PLR content to fill a site with content and then later decide to sell/flip the site, what part of the PLR rights come into play? I am not selling the content for the new owner to re-sell, so it wouldn't fall into Master Resell Rights. I'm not selling the content as just the content, but as a package so it may or may not fall into Resell Rights category. If it is a one time sale or if I sell several similar sites with the same PLR, maybe this would fit the bill. If the license doesn't allow the Passing On PLR, is this a factor in my scenario? The new owner of the site wouldn't really have PLR rights, the just have a site filled with content. Yes, no, maybe? For most common uses, the rights of PLR are self explanatory, but for my scenario above, I am somewhat confused and don't want to end up in hot water, or more importantly, for the buyers of my sites to end up in trouble. If I told the new buyers that they can not make changes to any of the articles and have no right to the copyright of the material would that help? Or is that enough? I guess if I re-wrote every article enough to make it my own, that would eliminate the problem, but I am looking to buy and post in a very streamlined manor. Or, another though would be to buy the PLR content for each site that I flip. That way I could buy the PLR on behalf of the new site owner as a 1 time use and they would have whatever PLR right came with the content. If I want to use the PLR more than once I would have to buy it more than once. I guess that could work if I can't find a better answer/explanation above. Thanks in advance, |

You should be fine with the standard freedom plr offers, but for quality and peace of mind, I would simply hire someone to write the articles for you. There's a few reasons for this.
First, you can get it done super cheaply. ($1-5 per article) Second, you instill a much higer value for the product and can ask a higher price for "all original, never before seen, content". Third, you will be building the relationship with your writer(s) for future products that will bring in repeat biz in the future. Best of luck! ~Mike Cowles. <>< |

I had a similar question, so thanks for the reply. I am pretty new to the PLR marketing arena, just bought my first batch. I am putting together a blog and building links to the blog from article directories. I have been changing up the PLR quite a bit which interestingly, I don't find tedious at all.
Thanks again, Dennis |
