INTERNET MARKETING

I have made a promise to myself that I will earn at least $100 per day by June 30 2009.

I plan on doing this by article marketing.

I am aware that article marketing can be tough, but the thought of residual income from articles written years ago really appeals to me.

I have been hovering around the forum for a while and sought out those that IMHO are the best of the best in this area.

I have started off by purchasing a WSO from Steven Wagenheim.

I pledge NOT to buy another WSO until I am making at least $50 per day from his WSO.

I believe that my lack of focus is what has been holding me back till this point in time. This year is the year of massive focus and massive action.

Having said this, I want any and all Warriors to personally "slap me" around the head a few times, should they find me wasting my precious time discussing anything other than article marketing.

Thanks very much for the words of encouragement.

I will certainly be rewriting my articles.

Not my favorite past time, but it works.

I'm planning on outsourcing once I reach a decent level of income.

Do you use any software for rewriting, such as Wordflood or even the tool inside Article Marketing Automation? I love that one!

I'll be reinvesting every $ that comes my way.

  Just get into it and don't be afraid of getting your hands dirty. There will probably be a lot of disappointments at first, but don't ever let this discourage you. Keeping a positive mindset is ideal for this sort of venture.

  I have tried some article spinners and it took me the same amount of time to spin it than it does to write a unique one. I am sticking to doing it myself, no spinners. Just my experience.

  Good for you for saving yourself a lot of time and money by focusing on one thing at a time and mastering it before moving on to the next. This is where I'm a scattered mess, so don't listen to me!
  
  There has been a ton of stuff in recent threads about article marketing, just if you get stuck and need to have a look. But try not to loose your focus by floating around on the forum. Keep posting your progress in this thread and everyone will keep returning to cheer you on!

Article marketing is certainly a major tool in my arsenal so I clearly think it is worth doing.

And I understand your vow not to buy another how-to product until you have at least accomplished half your goal. When I started, I bought the latest "whatever" as it if were going out of style. Far too many things!

And like so many other people I have ADD so I would hop from one thing to another getting more confused as time went on.

Then, one day, I decided to focus on what I had already learned so I cut many marketers off my mailing list so I would not see the next tempting offer. I still left a lot on and added more as time went on, but I buy very little and nothing at all that is connected to my main business. And I continually prune the maining lists I am on.

For me, solid focus became easier as time passed. I hope that works for you. I think most of us have had that overloaded feeling at some point. Get past it and the target and how to reach it becomes far clearer.

It's amazing now that I have openly stated my goal that my mind actually seems more focused. My mind seems to really be thinking about exactly what is required. Time will tell. I feel quietly confident.

Yep, be fearless, don't be afraid to take risks and follow through on your plans. Create a goal of how many articles you need to be producing for that kind of income. First determine if your niche is viable by producing 30 to 40 tightly keyword focussed articles. If they convert into sales, do more.

You'll get a feel for it after a month and you'll automatically know how many articles you need to be producing to achieve the $100 per day income. Don't forget to diversify once you have a few dollars too. You don't want to slog writing articles all day everyday forever. Work smart, not hard.

As Kriss Angel so eloquently said, the secret to success is....there is no secret, just find what you're passionate about, believe in yourself and work your tail off to make it happen. That's what separates the haves from the have-nots.

LOL. A head slap - I love it. Was this part of the WSO, I'm curious? Just kidding. But since you are so bold ...

Maybe you could put a link to your first article in your sig file and ask for a critique. If it's an EZA article and enough people click to read, it may get enough views to make it to the top of the "Most Viewed" section. Just a thought.
