Where to submit Press Release?

Hey Warriors,

Little help needed. My team has just launched a clients new product and website. The press release is live on the site, I've tweeted it out and facebooked etc. Where can I find a decent directory of places to submit the press release for more coverage online?

simplylinksdotcom is a great place to place press releases. They a world wide directory and well known. Hopefully this info helps you expose your clients site and product more. keep on keeping on.

I submit press releases all the time and from my experience, PRLog is way the best: Free Press Release Distribution Service - PRLog

  I second PRLog. It's always given me great results, and (best of all) it's free! I believe they have added a paid option in the past few months, but I've gotten everything I needed out of the free version.

Have you try searching for Google for "free press release" directory.

That said, a much better choice would be paid ones such as PRweb.. wider distributions, coverage and network

Thanks guys, I've taken over the social editing side of things and am actually submitting my first press release. So maybe in future I may look at a premium option but for now I will stick with the free ones. Only just getting familiar with Hootsuite!

PrWeb will get you massive leverage. We have PR's syndicated
over 10-20,000 times and you can leverage the PR once published
by curating it on your own blogs and RSS mashups.

Kind of an unknown site...but it seems to work well.....and it's free is smartsale (dot) biz
You can submit articles, links, etc.

I own it.......but honestly a lot of submissions (80%) are within google from page 1-5 within minutes!

I like all the free press release sites that you have all referred to. Also I have personally looked into PRWeb, which a premium PR site. But I want to offer up just one more method.

Try searching for your niche in Google News. Then go to the top ten sites that are listed and see if they accept press releases. The point of this little exercise is that you already know that Google accepts news in that particular niche from those particular sites so why not take advantage of it?

Once you have submitted the press release to these sites, don't forget to send the link to the PR to your local paper and news desks. They are always looking to fill up space, and you never know, you might get a little blurb in the paper.
