Just get used to doing

It is 6:47 am in the morning and I am about to call it a day. I just wanted to post this because I was thinking about how long I was actually working.

Now I can't say I worked straight for the whole time but I can say I have had less then a 2 hour break out of 12 so that leaves me with 10 on my laptop.

In that amount of time I managed to get half of what I wanted done. I don't like to think it is because I am not productive, a lot of what your going to be doing you'll be learning while doing at the same time.

I sat here for HOURS trying to figure out the right way to set up my Squeeze page and funnel only to have to finish it in the morning.

I'm learning this new wp theme and it's beast and a B*** at the same time but well worth the learning curve.

My point is even though I spend my whole day learning this new plugin, I managed to gain a new skill building squeeze pages and got some work done at that. When your actually working you forget to keep track of time and how long you actually been working. Yet it seems to me that most have trouble with is simply getting to work.

If you just start something I mean ANYTHING, not only will you be gaining a skill as you go, you'll also be taking one step closer to your IM success. It all starts with you getting up to do something, you will soon see its not so hard heck you might enjoy for a change.

Its nice too that you won't have to learn those skills over again for a new project. I have found that when I learn a certain of stuff, then new things come easier when I am trying to figure them out. I find similarities to things I already know and that makes the new things easier.

Yeah I was listening to the offline Rockstar and Willie Crawford really hit home with his advise. I had no clue PT had such learning curve lol. Now I see what the others go through when they set up a sales funnel. It takes time and a lot of messing up to get it right but now I am addicted to it and can't seem to stop thinking about them.

Yeah I totally agree, it can be easy getting stuck online reading and reading and think your doing something but all your becoming is the smartest marketer who never took action whcih in reality would make you dumbest marketer for wasting knowledge and your time.

Not aimed at anyone by the way

      Billiard,

I can think it's great that you are DOING. Personally, I wasted a lot of times earlier because all I did was study and took no action whatsoever. Wish I had taken a lot more back then.

Yeah that is I feel keeps most of us back from seeing any results is because we never do anything to produce any results. Reading is half the battle now you gotta implement then. You can't learn from reading only understand, you learn from doing IMO.

I can empathise with all you're saying here. I too, work from about 9-10pm till about 5-6am, when the house is quiet (and my American buddies are awake).
You're attitude to the learning curve is commendable. I too used to get frustrated constantly. Tjen one day, I sat down, wrote a list of 'To Dos', and a priority. Once the list was prioritised, I would only move on to the next item when I had complted the first; howver frustrating it was.
Then I rea lised that I had learned a new skill, and moved on a the same time. It's a great feeling, knocking off those listed items., but you must enforce some self disipline to stick with it. Every so often, you hit a quick item to complete, which is your reward for perseverance.
The other bonus of working this way, is that as you learn each new skill, you have more knowledge to share with others, whther it's Warriors here in the Forum, or your blog readership..

Don't, however, do what I did. About 6 weeks ago I hit mental exhaustion, which meant I literally had to step away from any IM work, and catch up on rest and resusitation.

Back now, refreshed and up and running again. Now - where's that list?

    Cheers
