Hello warriors!
First i just want to say thank you for all the help you all have been and how much information this website has. even though i haven't made any substantial money online yet i feel that i am getting much closer and have a much better chance of creating quality products/services to offer.
So my question for all the warriors today is do you have a bigger picture? Is there a bigger goal you are trying to reach rather than just hitting a specfic number for income that month?

As much as i love the internet and how i find IM fascinating in every aspect, It is not my true passion! My heart lies for the extreme sport of paintball and airsoft! It has been a hobby of mine since i was 10 and has followed me ever since. It was always a great time and i loved playing with my older brother and cousins. I still even play ever now and then to this day! My dream is to be the owner and operator of an indoor airsoft/paintball facility near my local neighborhood. Then from opening that field i want to design a new form of military simulation that would make training for combat more realistic and help soldiers preform better under pressure. I am hoping i will be able to save enough money from IM that i can start the airsoft field business and then eventually fund the new project. This is my passion and this is my bigger picture..Whats yours?

Create a site about paintball and airsoft guns. Throw some affiliate banners up on your site to promote said paintball/airsoft guns. Bank your earnings from the affiliate sales until you have enough to rent a couple of acres to start up your offline business.

    Problem solved

Just create the product first, you then need to market it . list it on clickbank , have your affiliate build your list , market for your product on forums , or even dumb a Google adwords campaign .

Yes I have a bigger picture.

To be perfectly honest this is my situation right now:

I am 21 years old, I have a 6 year old son, I have no formal qualifications due to leaving school early; although my expected grades were ALL A*'s (that's not arrogance, it's the truth, humbly). I am currently out of work and finding it quite difficult to get work. Though I see myself as an eternal student of knowledge; I've always loved searching for knowledge, or more accurately searching for truth, on many levels and subjects so I guess that makes me a polymath.

I have spent years researching internet marketing but I haven't taken much action on it - I have also spent a long time researching the so called "Illuminati" and also comparative religion - I reverted to Islam last year, I am a white English Muslim.

My dream is to be a polymath scholar and a professional artist. I love seeking knowledge and I love teaching, this is the main reason so called "Internet Marketing" appeals to me, it is the creating and selling digital information products which intrigues me.

Unfortunately my laptop has been sent away for repair and won't be back in my possession for at least a week - but on my machine I have already began writing lectures and short reports on topics I have knowledge on, and also some examples of Mini Sites and Sales Page Graphics I have been crafting; planning in the future to launch a design service aimed at the type of online entrepreneurs who use this forum.

The bigger picture for me is the teaching of knowledge - I will be designing for an income simply because I love designing and I can do everything which the highly rated web designers can do and I can do it quickly. But my aim is to create digital information products and then have them posted on Clickbank and the likes for affiliates to promote - I want to make the kind of products that everybody else is making but take them to a new level - I want to stand out as offering amazing value and quality in my work - so that essentially, once the product is made, the money will come it by itself (through affiliates selling for me).

I would also like to give public lectures on the topic of Comparative Religion - but I don't think I am ready for that yet, although I have the knowledge, I don't have the practice of speaking publicly or the confidence.

Having said that - I have something MASSIVE in mind right now which I have masterminded from simply studying "the game" as it were essentially for a few years now, keeping an eye on the forums and the top players and reverse-engineering their efforts and deconstructing their approaches - IMHO one of the best ways to learn anything is to study directly from whoever is considered "the best" in that field - and whoever "the best" is, they don't need to know that you are studying them for you to study them, although having said that it is also true that there are 6 keys to knowledge, those keys are: "who? what? where? when? how? why?".

In all honesty I am aiming very high, because I know from experience that immense self confidence and aiming for the sky are secrets to huge success - I know this from my own life: I was once an over-achiever, and I also became a rock-bottom waster, and analyzing my own past in a state of almost awake meditation (when I was depressed not so long ago) taught me a lot about life.

But ultimately my goals are to earn a nice living from writing books and publishing them online and offline, also by crafting and selling designs and artwork both online and offline. I am a student AND a teacher*.

*I noticed when I was asked to take a silly "personally test" not so long ago that it would seem we are attempting to limit ourselves, these tests force you to choose an answer for example which would call you either an introvert OR an extrovert, quiet OR loud, etc. when in reality we are BOTH, sometimes quiet, sometimes loud ;]

Oh and I would also like to pursue Martial Arts - I earned myself a few belts and a first kumite trophy in Shotokan Karate when I was 12 years old and loved it, but I quit due to laziness. Since then I am now extremely well-read on Martial Arts but also extremely non-practiced, so to overcome my laziness to martial training and act and apply my knowledge is also a battle I am currently trying to win.

    That's me

    Nice to meet you

    AJ

Your welcome and thank you for the encouragment

You can call me AJ btw, instead of "Simply AJ" lol :p

Also I wish you all the best in achieving your dreams of creating and running your combat simulation airsoft base - paintballing and airsoft is something I've never done but I've always wanted to give it a try.

My shorter term bigger picture is to build my own sites to the point where I can cut back on how much writing I do for others. I love writing for others, but I would rather be writing for my own sites.

My long term bigger picture is to cut back to 10-15 hours of work a week and have a team working on my sites for me. This would allow me to chase my dream of finally becoming a scratch golfer.

Thats a good idea, and I actually know someone planning to do that. Its a market that would be compatible with your passions, right?
