What is the best monetization method for Niche sites?

I'm pretty new to all this internet marketing, but I have a fairly good idea of keyword research and backlinking so far.

So far I have focused on Amazon affiliates as a monetization method. I know there are many other ways to monetize for niche sites and I'm wondering what the best ones really are?

    Your question is a bit like how long is a piece of string. There are so many variables......it depends upon many things , ie, the product/s you are promoting, your target audience etc etc

    Very good point. I guess what I'm trying to ask is what has been the best turn out for people here on this warrior forum and what do beginners in the IM world ususally start out with for monetization?
