Is there a market for a website and PLR with different domain extentions?

Hi,

Please could I ask your advice? Is there a market for creating a website and PLR book and then registering different domains with the same name but different extenstions like .biz, .com etc and marketing this as a product for sale? There would only be a few sales because of the limited number of extensions available.

What are the implications of people buying the exact same business except for the domain name extension?

Thanks
Di

That's an innovative idea but I cannot see it paying off, with an MRR book you can expand the idea with a number of tittle branding variations, you may as well get a hosting reseller account and offer a complete turnkey system, only one a month or so.It's not vital that the domain exactly match the title, many would choose to compromise on the name to insure the get a .com name.

I think that in most instances people like to do their keyword research and see what works for them and their style.

By giving the domain, you don't allow then to optimize for the keywords that they want. Also, you would be giving your customers too much competition. Not only would they have competition from the niche topic and content, they would also have unnecessary competition from the domain.

I would say that your best bet is to create the package and let them install it on their own hosting on a domain of their choice.
