You need to educate yourself first. Find a niche that best suits your needs and has value in the market place. Create information products, market those products. If you have money all this can be outsourced. So many opportunities out there for you. Please take your time to educate yourself, don't jump at the first opportunity. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to make money and thats a recipe for failure.

Sorry if I'm the first to break it to you, but the UK national lottery doesn't pay out in Euros. Sterling (£) is our currency.

I started up my online business while I was at university. I had to invest about $100 in it (well, actually I didn't have to invest that in it at all, but at the time I knew no better/different and chose to invest that in it - which wasn't unreasonable and turned out ok). I don't think, even with the benefit of hindsight, that there was ever a point at which having an additional $10,000 to invest in it would have made the results any better, or even any faster.

What I did, as countless others have done, was start off not really knowing what I was doing at all, not being able to differentiate between "information" and "misinformation", and earning almost nothing in my first 3 months. At any time during that period, if I'd decided to spend $10,000 to try to speed things up, I'd certainly have wasted most of it.

But let's be honest, here: it's not going to be easy to improve on Brent's suggestion, above!

  But seriously... If you are going to invest 10k it better be on a nice sized programming build or a large marketing expenditure... and if this is your first real project, I wouldn't suggest doing either of those.

Thank you everyone for your advice i don't plan on jumping right into this. My background is in Ebay. I used to be the online sales manager for a pawnshop. I would like too possibly start a cash for gold service but there is allot of online competition already.

I am just kidding. it would take you a while before jump into something. You need to set down and relax with a cup of coffee while looking around what is going around ? what are you interested in ? will the things you interested in will turn into actual profit ?

Again spend time reading what business opportunity may actually generate a good money.

Like was already posted, get educated.

One great piece of advice I got on here was join the War Room.

It is a one time lifetime fee and you get all kinds of free stuff in there.

However, don't go crazy downloading a bunch of stuff first, that will just overwhelm you.

You need an idea. You might get one reading through and studying.

Is this business for you or are you the one being offered the money to build a business for someone else?

Ah but everything comes with a but.. maybe you should stop looking so hard at buts *guffaw* (that sounds funny) and start thinking beyond the buts to what would light your fire, be INTERESTING to you, despite the potential drawbacks. Of course you need to weigh in the cons, but I don't think it's possible to find something without a con. and something that really interests you will probably make the "buts" less important.

What about a website that you pay $50 bucks and then it lets you travel back in time 20 minutes? You get more bang for your buck the larger increments you purchase ... so

$50 for 20 min
$90 for 40 min
$120 for 60 min
$140 for 80 min
$150 for 100 min

Someday if they invent a way to travel back more than 100 min you could offer even greater savings packages!

I agree that without knowing what you are doing you are only going to spend all your money without creating a real business. You have A Lot to learn!

Don’t spend a cent before studying internet marketing very well. Read many posts in this forum. It’s also a good idea to become a War Room member. You will learn a lot, without spending anything. The membership costs $37; this is nothing compared to what you can learn there.

Don’t tell anyone that you can spend money.

Spending must be an option only when you have a smart business plan and you know what you are doing. Otherwise, you will simply waste your money, your time, and all your energy, without having positive results in the end.

Okay. What I might suggest is to do something OFF line that has a good market demand.

(Like hotdogs, chips, and soda, (or pizza by the slice) out of a retro fitted van where you can drive to the marketplace (college campuses, construction sites, etc). Even accounting for gas, these businesses can easily pull in $300 to $500 dollars a day - only working an average of 4 hours a day).

I would recommend that you first do an assessment of what skills and specialized knowledge that you already posses. Then think about what it is that you enjoy doing. After you have done that look to see what niches would be interested in what you can offer.

If you can create digital products based on your assessments. Create websites with great sales copy and keyword focused, get several powerful videos for video sites like YouTube

Get about 10-20 articles written to be submitted to ezines, squidoo, hubpages and your blogs. Get a professional press release and submit through PR web

Start helping people in the warrior forum ... don't sale anything except for maybe a WSO

Make sure you have a good autoresponder system with at least 52 good follow up highly informative emails ,mixed with your products and a few others affiliate products

You could possibly get all done for under $1500. Invest in some silver and gold with the rest kick back let the dough come in ..repeat and repeat and repeat

Same goes I guess in every single business,

find the profitable niche , learn the process to build the list, learn the process of driving traffic, learn the process to build customer relationship and many many many many more.

Seriously I think, it doesn't use money to make money. Yeah , it can be , but in opposite of philosophy, you still can use ZERO or LITTLE money to make money. The only thing you need to invest is the time, patience to learn the process. =) Cheers

don't spend a dime (unless on informational products, and don't go overboard) until you sit here and read for a few days. you would be surprised how fast you can burn through cash if you are outsourcing everything. plan on doing some grunt work at first so you can spread that ten grand out

running after SEO, Traffic, wordpress or all this fancy stuff in IM). You need to know
basic first. Try to look on Jason Fladlien "Internet Millionaire Recipe" you can easily
get a know how what exactly IM is. Then you have to decide which niche you are targeting. and go from there.
