Where can I find the best US written 500 word articles for a fair price to use on my affiliate blogs. I'm looking for really solid content.

  I second Textbroker, I've had some really good content from writers there. I've also had a few good articles from Hire a Writer - Write Swap - The Content Marketplace and writers here on the forum.

Warriors for Hire, oDesk, and Elance are all good places to start. Read the feedback of others (if there is some), and maybe start out by ordering one or two articles just to make sure the writer can provide the quality you are looking for.
