Quick Question About Google Webmaster Tools And Doman Re-Direct???

Hi guys n gals

in my sig the second link is to a blog i created using googles blogger. Today i went ahead and purchased my own domain through blogger. From what i can tell i dont need to do much as they have done most of the re-direct work for me. But in Webmaster tools i wanted to add the new domain anyway just to be sure i get it indexed.

So i went and done this then when i went to create the site map for google, i did it the same way i had done before which was to add /atom.xml after my domain. This has not worked and im stumped

Can anyone be of assistance. Much appreciated
