What do you think about group buying or the daily deal market?
I have been somewhat involved in the daily deal market for sometime......first merchandise (woot-like) and the last few years local deals (like groupon).
There are so many stories about how the market is drying up......and there is a lot of competition. It is true, there is a lot of competition.......but most of them are not paving the way to do anything different....they are band-wagon jumpers! They jump on and make any money they can until it runs dry!
I personally think that Groupon started with a great concept that still has a lot of room for growth and change!
Any thoughts?
