Where should I start a thread about the free tool?

Hi,

I am crystal. I have learned a lot from this amazing forum and as a giving back, I decide to share a free tool for ClickBank data management and analysis. As this is a professional forum which plans tighter rules, I just don't want to be unfriendly or even banned. Anyone can tell me which section I should start a thread about this tool and I am a member of war room, can I post it on "Private Forums", will it be rejected? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thank you very much.

    As long as there is no Optin requirements, you should be able to post it on the main forum.

    Since your offering a premium product/tool for free I would put it in the War Room. You can't require a optin to download it but you can put an optin form on the download page so if people want to thank you for the download by signing up they can.

        You can hook your friends up with free stuff - that's what the War Room is for. You can also post it in your signature. But can you imagine how useful this main discussion forum would be if it were full of people giving away free tools and information? If it was the done thing everyone would be creating free things to give-away to get people into their funnel and there would be a ton of crap floating around. It would turn into nothing more than a forum full of adverts. I think you will agree times are a little different to the days when this forum began - the rules need to reflect that.

          If you check the stickies at the top of the main forum, there is a lost of the 'all in one' topics. One of them is free software that you can't live without. That might be a bit of an exaggeration. I don't have most of them, and I seem to be surviving.

    If it is your own tool then I would suggest against posting it in the main discussion forum - even if the tool is free and has no optin it would still be seen as self-promotion, I think. I would suggest posting a link to it in your forum signature and/or posting it in the War Room.

      You know its funny, that this place is soo uptight, that you cant even hook your friends up with free stuff without the "fear" of being banned.

      The reason why this is funny, is because this forum started out by fellow warriors helping each other out, and giving away their goodies.
