Your website's IP address doesn't change unless your host changes it for you. Thus when you open your IP address that is why your website is showing. No, Google doesn't see that as duplicate content.

You domain name is the human-memorable version of your IP address - in effect your website is your IP address.

This is what DNS means. DNS Domain Naming System DNS is a means of mapping your domain name to an IP address. computers don't understand Names like mydomain.com, computers understand numbers actually they understand two numbers "0" an "1" an IP address is a hexadecimal number a base 16 number when you type in a domain name in a browser the request goes out on the internet where a name server has the DNS "A" record for that domain name and it in turn relays the request using the IP address. You can't redirect your IP to your domain name, your domain name is nothing more than a convenient human name for your IP address. Your website is located at the IP address The domain name is just the IP address in a different language a language that computers understand.

Short answer is that you can't, don't want and don't need to.

You know how you go to the library, and there are numbers on all the books?

Every book has a TITLE and a NUMBER.

Same thing. It's not just the same content. IT'S THE SAME BOOK.

That's exactly what it is about. IP is like the numeric version of you website, if that makes sense.

Just create an "A" record in your advanced DNS settings.

Your DOMAIN redirects, behind the scenes, to your IP. (actually, it's mapped to your IP)

    That's how the internet works.

Everytime you type in a domain name in your browser, your computer looks up the IP address for that domain, and forwards your request to that IP.

What you are saying you want to do is the equivelant of saying you want the post office to use "situ08's house" as your address, instead of "123 Elm st, some city, blah blah.." If I live in the US, and you live Australia, guess what? my letter won't make it past my local post office.
