Selling a site and picking the price

I've 4 wordpress blogs making roughly $180/Month between all 4.(Adsense)

I'm thinking of selling them as a bulk buy on Flippa.

I've to fill in the BIN box and dont want to over or under price myself.

Would $1500 BIN be ok or make it higher / Lower ?

It depends how well you think the auction's going to go, doesn't it?

If that level of income is readily provable over an extended period of time (i.e. not just the last couple of months' income), I'd think you might set the BIN figure a little higher, if you're feeling ambitious ... maybe $1,800, to represent about 10 months' income? But I'm one of life's optimists. I wish you well with it, anyway.

Hmm thats not really a good track record for being valuable long term... keep it around that level a few months and then sell...

But really if you are seeing such large gains every month id hang on to it personally (unless you are doing a lot of work to generate this...)

I have been wondering something about when people sell sites, so I'll just ask you.

If this site is pulling in $180 per month, why sell it for 1500? Why not keep it for a year or two and then sell it? Or just keep it?

I need money for Car insurance and Christmas. I've more sites that i will be keeping. But i can make more sites and try get them up to making $30-$40/month. (try)

I might be able to wait till the end of Oct and sell in Nov. these are micro niche sites so I wont be making much more then I am now.

In my opinion, a site that has only a few months worth of revenue proves that there will be a significant amount of work that will be required to maintain it where it is. The buyer will have to have that in mind, and likely will have to update and promote the site. Those monthly income numbers are impressive though, I do think estimating the earnings out for 6 months or a year might be too ambitious though since the site is only three months old. The best fit for it might be someone who knows what it takes to maintain and grow the traffic and monthly income, it will be a great deal for them and that might get you $1,500 or $1,800 for them.
