What I am looking for..........

I am looking for a new web hosting company that has a good web site builder included - can anyone suggest any? I need to create up to 10 sites on one account and maybe upgrade later.

The website builder needs to be something like Home Page
Thanks in advance.

I've used probably a dozen hosting companies over the years, and have to say Hostgator's support is second to none. My vote like the others is for HG.

    Good luck to you.

While I have no personal experience with 1&1, I have heard some pretty negative stuff about them on this forum in the past so please make sure you research any company you choose to go with before you part with any cash.
The good thing about researching hosting accounts is there are a LOT of review sites out there so compare a few reviews that have the features you want and go with that. Note, theres a lot of affiliate reviews out there so be aware of that because affiliate reviews are not as honest as non-affiliate reviews.

Personally, I've always used GoDaddy myself and I've been a customer of theirs for over 8 years now. In all that time I've only had one issue which I wasn't very happy about but all-in-all I'm pretty pleased with the service I've recieved from them.
In regards to a site-builder, I know GoDaddy do offer a site-builder however I've never used one myself so I can't give you an honest opinion on it. I'm wondering why you would want to use a site-builder anyway??? These tools were really good in the past for people who couldn't write HTML or CSS, but in todays day and age we have CMS (Content Management systems) that take care of that problem. The most widely used and easy to learn CMS out there is Wordpress. Technically its a blogging platform but most people use it to build and manage regular websites. You don't need to know HTML or CSS as the admin area is very simular to a site-builder and adding a new page to your website is as easy as writing an email. Another good thing about wordpress is there are literally MILLIONS and MILLIONS of tutorials out there so no matter what you want to do, there will always be someone teaching it somewhere.

Also, most hosting companies, including GoDaddy, will install Wordpress for you automatically so its super easy to get started. Once you've got WP installed you'll need to find a theme to use which is like the website design template and again, there are millions of them on the internet available for free or for a small fee. Wordpress also use plugins which are little add-ons to the website and there are plugins for everything from SEO to image slideshows.... You name it and I bet theres a plugin that does it.

    Anyway, hope this helps.

I would suggest you do not use those free web site builders as you are often restricted to only that host.

Build them in Wordpress instead and then you can move them to any hosting.

I also recommend Host Gator - have my dedicated server with them.

I will always question why people are always looking for a site builder. HTML is not difficult to learn in fact in the time it takes to work out how to use an in-house site builder you could get a simple html site up and running.

My advice is to keep your website simple with clean code and you can do this with the likes of Edit Plus. Do under any circumstances use Microsoft word, its a word processor and creates a host of redundant code which is there to link with other Microsoft products.

As regards a good webhost I have used Knownhost for a number of years and have been more than satisfied with their service and support
