How do I create Content for multiple websites?

Here is the situation -

I have just purchased a couple more domain names to help with my SEO ranking on some keyword phrases in my niche.

What I need to know is:

What do you do to create content for the other websites you own for the same products?

In other words, I have a set of products for a niche. I used to have one website url for this niche. As of tonight, I have three websites.

Now, I need to build content for the other two websites. Obviously I cannot just copy and paste the HTML code, or Google would blacklist all three websites. So - I am curious - what do you do in this situation?

I am hoping for a fast (or semi-fast) solution. I do not want to go to all the work I did with the first website.

Do you do a quick install of wordpress for one or more of the websites? If so, what do you post? Do you put the posts on auto-blog?

I really need some answers, because I do my best to get all the work I do to become passive.

I need some passive income approaches for this situation (work up front - money later).

Thanks!

That's one great idea, yes. Another way is to do what I did. Rewrite the same articles with a different slant, from a different viewpoint. I do it all the time.

When I spun my wedding bookmarks off of my main wedding site, I took a lot of my wedding favor articles and rewrote them, adding something about bookmarks into the end of the articles. Works like a charm!

      Good luck!

I currently run 21 blogs all on the same niche topic. Every one of them produces passive income (not all the same amount or at the same time, of course). I wrote every word on all 21 blogs and collectively they represent 600 blog posts. I've written close to 1,500 backlinking articles to those 600 blog posts.

I quickly admit there were days I thought there wasn't another word to be written by anyone, much less me, about my niche topic.

The next morning, however, I sat down at my computer and found a way to write another blog post or another backlinking article.

I just made up my mind to write about my niche topic from every imaginable perspective. It can be done, and when it is done it is possible to dominate a niche topic.

According to my records, I have written about 750,000 words on just one niche topic.

Was it easy? No! Can it be done by one person sitting in front of a laptop located on the end of the kitchen table? Yes.

Dapper - that is awesome! Do you have any tips you'd like to share about how to go about that? I'm running four sites and the process of launching my fifth and last as I don't plan on starting any more. I could use a hand in figuring out how to maximize the content for these sites.

    Thanks!

I'd pay someone. I can't write to save my life lol

    I'd also consider spinners.

Just write the articles yourself. As long as your keyword phrase is in the article and the content of the article is relevant to the keyword you can just go to ezine, pick out three articles thats relevant to your keyword and pick out facts from these three articles and rewrite around them. That's how i write mine articles in whatever niche in 10 minutes. Just remember to write around your keyword phrase you want to rank for.

@NicheMagic - I've paid writers before for some of my content but my budget's a bit limited right now to do that. I also have a good rewriting program that I need to take some time to learn. That will happen this afternoon.

@MikeTyler - that's exactly how I do a lot of my writing that I'm not writing from first-hand experience. I've also rewritten a lot of my own articles just going either sentence by sentence or paragraph by paragraph. Or I'll head to my top competitors' sites to see what they're writing about and rewrite their articles in my own words so they're 100% unique.

All of these ways work; it just seems to take me a while sometimes. Although I did rewrite seven articles yesterday!

It seems to me that by owning three sites, you're actually watering down your SEO rather than improving it. Isn't the goal to oprimize one site so it places as high as possible in the search results? What am I missing here?

As for me, you're not missing anything. Each of my four sites is in a completely different niche. For instance, before I sold my wedding planning site, I rewrote most of the wedding favor articles to put on my new site which is strictly about wedding favors in general, bookmarks specifically.

I recently spun off the memorial bookmarks to their own site because I needed something more "solemn" for the funeral and memorial niche so they needed their own home.

My third site is a hockey site that I have up for sale on Flippa but until/if it sells, I want to build more content.

My fourth site is my husband's that I maintain the content on for him. It started out strictly as an ecommerce site but that didn't float. So I revamped the entire site and have added a section to it that's all about deer hunting.

We have a fifth site that's been sort of collecting dust for over a year that I'd like to build out. That's a crafts site for my husband's recycled wine bottles and mason jars crafts and I really need content for that.

And finally, my brand new site, is for all of the articles I've written for each of my sites; they're being rewritten to sell in PLR packs.

So each site is completely different; therefore, no watering down of the niche.

What I was asking was for tips on creating so many different articles around one particular topic so that each is a unique article that I can use for:
      - article distribution
      - blog posts
      - possible ebooks in the future
      - possible videos to add to the blogs; I'd like to start video blogs for each of these sites eventually, once I get the PLR site populated with article packs and shopping carts, etc.

I know I could outsource this stuff, but until I'm earning more, I was just here looking for some tips and brainstorming for how in the world to create multiple articles on just one topic without using a spinner.

I suggest you could buy some articles or you could hire a writer to write good articles for you then you can post these articles to blog sites or press release sites

I wandered off for a while, but I wanted to make a point about the written content you need for your blogs/sites.

As I said, all of my 21 blogs are about the same niche. However, I discovered that even if I am writing about the same subject every day it never become duplicate content. After all, facts are not duplicate content.

I started fanning the content for my blogs in April 2009. In fact, I only had five of the 21 going at that time. I finally took a hard look at my keywords and picked out the ones that would allow me to secure the keyword and the keyword only in the domain name. Somehow I stopped at 21 because I began to worry about the domain renewal costs.

Well, there I was with 21 domains and 21 blogs. I decided to write and publish at least 20 500-word blog posts on each one. When I grew weary of blog posts I wrote backlinking articles. I didn't worry about how much time it would take me to write all the blog posts because I had a specific number in mind.

Well, around December of 2010 I simply counted up the number of blog posts on each of the 21 blogs. Any blog that didn't have the full 20 posts got them. Then I filled up the next blog that was short of posts.

Sometime in June of this year I hit my goal. Now, please know that some of my blogs have 25, 34, 100 posts. I worked on one blog for an entire month until it had 100 posts. Why? I can't remember anymore! It seemed like a good idea at the time.

My method is very simple. I type in three titles in the morning, check to see that the titles are original and then write the posts/articles.

I do that again in the afternoon.

Sometimes I use Dragon and sometimes I type the content out.

The question, of course, is if the effort is worth it. It is. I had not posted on one of my blogs for 81 days this year. However, that blog earned $1,100 during that 81 days. Plus, that blog has a fixed cost of 6.5 cents a day (domain renewal and hosting) this year.

So, for an "old school" person like myself the goal of how many blog posts on each blog and the daily writing on the same niche topic pays off.

I know I should put some kind of formula in here. OK! Make up a list of 100 titles for blog posts and backlinking articles. Each title should have a keyword in it, so you will need 100 keywords related to your niche topic. Make sure the titles are not duplicated in the search engines. Write six 500-word blog posts/articles a day (three in the morning and three in the afternoon). Publish on your blog(s) until you have at least 20 500-word posts. Use the remaining 80 articles for backlinking purposes.

Don't look at your watch! It doesn't matter how long it takes to write all the content. At some point you will find that you are actually making money simply because of the volume of content. At least that is my experience.

    I hope this helps.

You mention the titles are not duplicated, but you do duplicate the keywords right?

For your blogs, do you sell product or do you use adsense? or both?

I agree with you - the more content - the more money a person can make. It still seems daunting on some days.

BTW Thank you for sharing! It helps to hear someone who has 21 blogs. Now all of a sudden my 2 blogs doesn't seem as daunting.

I'm glad I could participate in this discussion in a positive fashion. I work with a list of about 70 related keywords broken into primary keywords and secondary keywords.

I have both kinds of ads on my blogs.

Years ago I read an academic study that suggested that the human brain will not produce written content that is an exact duplicate if the writer starts with a blank page each time. Apparently, something with our neural networks stops us from repeating exactly the same words in the same way each time we write from a cold start.

I deliberately start with a clean page in front of me each morning for that very reason.

Also, I rotate my primary keywords for each blog post or article. I literally start at the top of the list and move to the end of the list.

I pepper the body paragraphs with the secondary keywords.

I use action verbs in the titles, and I write long titles.

I will probably add ten new blog posts to each of my twenty one blogs by February of 2012.

Right now, I'm concentrating on backlinking every day.

This volume method can take any Internet Marketer a long way, in my opinion.

I'm in this for the long haul.

    Good luck!
