There doesn't need to be competition!

I just saw a jerk on this forum that likes to bully his competitors around by giving out infractions and reporting them. Personally, you have to be a little small in the pants so to speak to worry that much about it but then again all he does on this forum is self promotion.

Anyway, the reason for this post.

You can view competitors as a good thing or a bad thing.

I like to think of it as a good thing personally. These are people that are possible JV partners or affiliates. All I need to do is create a complimentary product to what they are offering or they can do the same. We can actually make more money by working together than trying to out do each other.

Or you can leave money on the table thinking your competitors are the worst thing in the world.

So what will it be?

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Competition is healthy. It keeps us from getting lazy.

Ultimately, it can lead to better products being created for the consumer
as each competitor should want to come out with the best product possible,
especially if the competition is fierce.

Without it, we could very well end up complacent and rest on our past
accomplishments. And then if competition DOES come along, we could be
        taken completely off guard.

Just take a look at what happened to IBM.

Enjoy the feeling. Judging from your picture, that's the closest you're likely to get to "fuzzy" for a while...

Yeah, but I can get out of bed and leave the house while you are still trying to fit that hat over the dome like morning hair.

Rule Of Thumb: You'll meet the same people on your way up than on your way down. Be kind and helpful to all. It will be returned to you in spades. You never know who will be there to help you or hurt you one day.
