Need suggestion for suitable membership site script/software

Apologize if same thread existed before.

I'm new to membership site building, and have plan to setup online training membership site for a friend, with following features:

- Custom payment method
- Automatic & Manual member activation
- Download area
- Can embed video/audio training
- Live chat with all members (which will be done once a month).
- Free trial membership area
- Members cannot access the next lesson if they still have not finished the task that is given weekly, or if they haven't paid the monthly fee.

Any idea what membership script/program that have features like this?

    I have built quite a few membership sites using Wishlist, it's fantastic, has the most features, is super easy to use and is also very cheap as far as these scripts go. Good luck

    Hi,
    I have used both Wishlist Member and Digital Access Pass, and Digital Access Pass is by far the most customisable and the easiest to set up. With DAP, I have also received excellent customer support for the many questions I asked them.

    The DAP is slightly more expensive than Wishlist, but I think it is worth the extra money, especially if you are looking to drip feed content to your members.

    Hi. The Butterfly Marketing Script will do most of what you have outlined there and you can get it free these days. Not sure about the Live Chat though you would have to look in to that.

    Have you tried using a wordpress platform. You can get all sorts of membership plugins now and it's cost effective that way too.

      Kerryrus: Did you mean Butterfly source code? Because that's what I found. I didn't find free butterfly marketing script anywhere

    I use the open source butterfly marketing script on several projects. Works well for what I want and it is customizable. Just Google "open source butterfly marketing" to find it.

    I'm just trying to set up a site where people have to join to get access to downloads etc. I'm trying to use Wordpress and have got myself into a right mess.

    I need to start again. Moral of the story is to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN.
