I've had that happen on Paydotcom. Got a few sales and didn't get paid so I didn't promote that vendor again. Pity because I could have made us both alot of money. I don't think there's much you can do about it though.

It's common in Paydotcom, vendors don't pay affiliates. Just like Hamida Harland said, it's better to promote well known product.

I've never had a vendor on PayDotCom who has paid me without having to be chased first (after the deadline), and on one occasion the vendor refused to pay completely. That was for a $500 commission too so it hurt. I complained to PayDotCom and they terminated the vendor's account. I never saw my commission and that vendor now just sells direct to customers.

Just before I made this post I sent off yet another email reminder to a tardy PayDotCom vendor who is now 5 months behind on commissions from a monthly sub they owe me. I have to chase this and other vendors EVERY month PayDotCom.

Apart from the one case above, I do get paid in the end but if I had to chase every vendor from other networks like I do with PayDotCom vendors I would have little time left to do much else.

PayDotCom is a really crap system which offers no protection to the affiliates. I don't promote new PayDotCom vendors any more and will cease completely when the ones I am promoting die out or push me too far with the delays.

BTW, for the vendor above who refused to pay me commission and got their PayDotCom account terminated, I also changed their product review on my website to make sure no one would buy if they saw my review beforehand.

That web page with the review has remained at number 1 on Google for the actual product name search ever since (nearly 2 years). Their sales page is number 2 on Google so most searchers see my review first. I'm not sure how many customers he has lost by not paying me but I am sure it's a lot.
