PayPal placed hold on an order

This is a first for me. A person ordered a kit from us and PayPal placed a 24 hour hold on it, and it was to do with him, not us. Today they said it's ok for us to ship the product. What kinds of things could have been a problem that would have caused them to do this? It appears MasterCard is how he paid for his kit, not out of money in his PayPal account. Any ideas what may have happened?

    Probably just waiting for an authorization from the card issuer. Once Paypal had the funds, they gave you the okay to ship. Not a big deal, but it usually doesn't take overnight.

      Thanks for your reply. The notice I got said they'd have it resolved in 24 hours, and they did. Could be he had credit card problems.
