LMAO hehehehe

On a serious note though, I only came to the forum today to check out a watch me thread, they are cool and interesting. I would never visit a forum blog so I think its great they do it in the threads.

Martin,

[chuckle] The fools in the group could never acquire that kind of influence, or I'd have been gone within the first week.

There are some very senior members who've been told, "Don't push that button with me," repeatedly, and kept it up. I'm talking things like trying to dictate what charities I choose to support, and what my political beliefs should be. Stuff that my best friends know is off limits, much less people I've never actually met.

People who know me well can tell you, I don't have that many buttons to push. If you keep hitting them after you've been asked not to, you go into the "Don't waste your time on this person" list.

Sometimes that means avoiding subjects you know will attract that crap, because the fallout would be bad for everyone else, even if the target deserved every megaton of the damage.

I would add here that the post count and thanked posts stats have positive aspects to them, but the negatives outweigh them at times.

If you do your due dilligence, those really big post count numbers are due in part to 'water cooler chat' about off-topic nonsense, or someone's friends follow them around with the thanks button. I even saw a new member post a line of commas as their reply to get the count up. So the count is irrelevant to me since it's become kind of like ebay penny recipe or download feedback. So these are good indicators of someone's length of time as a member, but that's about it. At least for me.

LMAO Well, it appears I got suckered in on one of the Dennis White WSO's. Not the first time, or probably the last time I've gotten snookered. God help us innocent gullible newbies.

But then again, a post I made here in this forum got deleted too a few days ago. LOL I was just offering some free music backing tracks and must have gotten branded as a self-promoter.

I noticed this thread here when I was trying to figure out why I couldn't find some of the threads I had bookmarked and was following. They're all gone today.

So, since they are gone, and the users too, I expect, how can you warn people who posted there? Maybe they too are victims. Just hope they read this thread? I never received any kind of notice from this site about the deletions or any warnings, probably because I couldn't post there yet due to low post count. LOL Maybe other newbies are in the same boat?

I joined a membership subscription WSO a few days ago that is history here now. Should I cancel, or try to figure out a way to contact others before I lose access to the site, and before my next installment is due? About 20 members there, discounting the possible clones. LOL

Not anymore! LOL
And now I am very suspicious about many of the WSO's here too.

The reason so many popped up is that people are basically completely uncreative. One person does something and it is creative/interesting, so everyone else just copies it instead of thinking for themselves.

Mini Rant: it is the same as when idiots in the press add the word "-gate" to any controversy. This is WF's "follow-me gate." The first time someone called something ___-gate after the Watergate thing, that was creative, funny, etc.. For the last 35 years, it shows nothing but a complete lack of intelligence and creativity on the part of the powers that be in the press.

So, my point to marketers and warriors out there: use your brains, be creative. Remember, the person you are copying is likely an idiot too. I know, I know: there is nothing wrong with having a swipe file, etc... You, know, back a winning horse... Yes, there is when you beat the poor horse to death.

I can see why you'd be nervous. When you signed up, did you get what you were expecting to get...what you were told you'd get upon sign up? If the program has value to you, you may want to stay on. If it doesn't, or if sometime in the future you are not getting what was promised, you may want to cancel it. I don't know anything about it, since I don't know who those people are or what WSOs they were promoting. I suspect they created multiple accounts just to get their WSOs noticed. I don't have a clue if they are actually bad WSOs or not.

I am glad the Warriors are "on the ball" and notice such shenanigans, though. This is a great community, for many reasons. This is one of them.

Well, umm, if it's being run by two people, who, according to this thread are one person, then I don't think I can put much faith in anything they are offering there. Once a liar always a liar, or something like that. lol

This WSO was a subscription membership posted here by the extinct Danny White (NGmedia) partnered there with the infamous Garland Robinson clone. And they are listed as separate entities there too. So... I am concerned for the others there who signed up from here, that they are aware of the revelation on this thread.

I certainly can't challenge the two admin guys, Danny and Garland there in a post to warn the other members of a possible fraud. LOL

I don't really know anything about this WSO or multiple characters thing as I really don't pay much attention to that stuff.

However, I feel this stuff is best left out in the open and not behind closed doors.

For what it's worth, I received this PM from user name Dennis-White. It read...

"Hey jmo, I have got to ask you a question about warriorforum... My screen name was banned.. becuase they said I was linked to people promoting my wso... on the other hand, I had no control if someone who promotes my products wants to purchase a wso... from me as well...

dude, ive had under my old screen name a post in main section with 2,00 views, and a wso with 3k banked.. why would some admins be pissed cuz a few people from my list that promote my products buy my wso's ...?

any opinion would be appriated

It seems as if I am coming up and these old time mods got it in for people stirring up contrivirsy

Dennis"

I didn't reply as I know nothing of the issue. And it's probably best to discuss this in public instead of PM'ing me about it. That way Dennis can see the answers and Warriors can see what Dennis is up to, or isn't up to.

Me, I have no clue and really not interested to be truthful.

How does one PM someone if they've been banned? Don't they have to have a certain number of posts in order to PM people, anyway? From Jason's post it appears that this person has yet ANOTHER long term identity here.

Very good point that Angela.
I'm sure he'll turn up with another WSO soon.
