Which Facebook fan page to create so Facebook wont' take the ownership if you get alot of fans as I heard they do that, I'm talking about categories they have like local business, brand, product etc. please advice.

    you should not use generic name , like apple or starbucks , choose unique name for your business and you will be fine

    but what should I create it under, there is an option for a business, brand, enterntainment etc, I'm opening a deal site so need some advice here as I'm totally new to facebook.

    You need to go under Business, then Website. It's an option there.

    Hi,

    As far as I know, the only type of Fan Page that FB takes ownership of (if it reaches 10,000 fans) are those under the category "Cause or Community". All the others are okay.

    I'm not 100% certain of this, but almost. Anybody else able to confirm this?
