Is this the right step for me ?

I have been in this forum for a few months, I'm able to get around with WP, I actually did a amazon (affiliate )store but it was not that great, did not look professional at all and it took me about 1 week to do it.

I know I can learn about driving traffic to my blog, and if i have something that is nice it will make my effort worth it.

I came a across a warrior selling blog for 25$ with support, ready for me to work at drive traffic to the side.

I just need to get a domain name and host.I'm about to get it, but before I spend any money, is this the right step for me or I'm skipping steps.

Plus why do I keep on getting private message with warriors try to sell me stuff ?

i would tell you to try to learn that from the ground up as you can youtube how to setup a simple a wp site and from there you can add your plugins to create an amazon store. People are trying to sell you stuff because you are new and so are they and are too lazy to start a WSO to pitch their stuff properly lol.If you just took the time to learn the basic like web design you'll be able to take that $25 for something else or even start selling them yourself you know.

I would say that if you already have spent the time building a site, the issue is getting targetted traffic to that site rather than just going and getting another site.

Until you have a better idea of what you need to do whether it be a different niche or better keyword research, or getting traffic, I wouldn't spend any more money.

There is so much valid free information available.

And also, you can join the War Room, which I recommend, for a one time fee of $37 and they give away lots of stuff in there.

But still, before you start just getting lots of stuff, get more of the basics down.

Worst case scenario, you earn nothing. What can you do with the blog if that happens? Is there content on it? A theme? Stuff you can reuse? Is that worth $25 to you?

    If not, then... it's $25.

Add in hosting and domain, it's about $50.

Is that too much money for you to feel comfortable risking on this?

Is $50 going to make or break you?

I don't know the answers to these questions, but you probably do. And they'll tell you what you should do.

Report those (red triangle icon in the upper right of the PM). They're no less spam here than they would be in your email.

Perhaps a bit out of text...

I agree wholeheartedly. But there is a BIG difference between SPAM via a pm, and giving a 'newbie' some solid advice, which is exactly what I felt to be doing.

Thus, if I get a 'violation' for suggesting a solution to his problem, or more over; in helping led him/her in the right direction , I'd be pissed off to receive a violation!

Namely because, I sent him a pm respectively stating he can review the link without me earning a dime (on a $17 product). But, if he finds it worth exploring, I included a secondary link (my affiliate link) of which I stated he can use it if he/she chooses.

No hidden agenda here, I was trying to help... so am I (inadvertently) 'guilty' for sending him a pm?

If so, I'll never send another pm, for my education and dependency on this forum is greater than my need for money (or the risk of a violation).

To the OP, it was IMHO an inexpensive solution that answers almost every question you've asked, and a product that saved my behind when I started.

If he really does "keep on getting private message with warriors try to sell me stuff," he's got more than just your message to think about.

And like I said, it's as spammy as it would be in your email. If you'd be okay getting this PM as an email, it's probably not spam.

Thanks for the clarification, I have found many threads that you've given some great contributions to, so thank-you for that!

I just wanted to insure OP understands NOT everyone here giving advice is trying to drain his wallet, but rather, trying to help him fill it up with cash.

Plus, in measure of personal interests, I damn sure don't want him getting too happy with the "V" button.

For the record, I included my email in the pm as well, and offered to help him if he gets stuck. I know; I spent hundreds of dollars before realizing "what not" to do. So my intentions were NOT money motivated in the pm, as others may have been.

It's all good, he's in the right place to learn affiliate marketing.

If you are referring to niche blogs, such as Verena's offers, she definitely has been around awhile, and stands behind her products, and has great support. However, in most cases, it will be your responsibility to promote the site and drive traffic. So "Yes" these are 'usually' a good jump-start to affiliate marketing.

Yes. I read and responded to the thread you posted pertaining to this step as well.

While, I rarely pm anyone, I happened to have sent you a link, strictly because a large percentage of the questioned you are asking have

A.) Already been asked a million times
B.) Can be answered within that (1) link
C.) You can save a ton of time and money should you truly want step-by-step video "instructions", as opposed to asking 1000 more similar questions that have already been answered here before.

Finally, to put it politely; in many people's eyes you are "Fresh Meat" who is coming here asking "where do I put my money?" -thus, you can expect both 'honest' and 'savage' responses whereby, people are going to try and accommodate your needs. (*some more ethical then others)

If my pm offended you, my sincerest apologies.

Might I suggest, using the search function above, rather then posting the multiplicity of questions you've been asking that have already been answered several times, in previous threads.

Again, in every thread I have responded to, in your recent questions, my response included... learn "how to" conduct your research. This applies everywhere, and includes the questions you have recently been asking.

It does not offend me at all that you ask(ed) them, but if you don't want advice (which often comes by way of a pm) then you can avoid a ton of people trying to sell you something, and find the question(s) you've asked have already been answered several times prior, and by using the search function, you'll avoid being plagued by offers via pm.
