I Will Abosultely Never Spend Money On This Again...

When you are advertising for your business, you are investing. Sometimes investments don't pan out as planned and it's not such a great time.

If you've paid for any type of online advertising for your business and it didn't go so well, share your experience. Which traffic generation method will you never spend money on again?

Don't forget to share why you think it didn't go so well for you too...

I don't pay on advertising, I have a whole package with all marketing tools for $1.87 a day, and this also gives me great page ranking, seo, training and all the tools. Some even build a powerful SEO firm just using this tools, and never spend a penny on advertising or anything else

If that package is working for you, that's great... but that's only a small portion of what you could do for your traffic. This means, that's only a small portion of the money you could make.

Once you are making enough money to invest back into your business, it's smart to use this money for advertisement or development.

My advice is to research the form of advertizing method you are considering so you have the best chance at optimizing your campaign and not wasting hard earned $$$
You can definitely run into that type of traffic often when paying for traffic. Those quick traffic schemes always promise big things, but aren't targeted for anyone.

I think this is going to be a very interesting thread and I'm trying to expand on my traffic sources. I have only tried PPC as a paid advertising source, and most of my campaigns converted well. Now that I can't use PPC (Google & MSN don't like how I sell digital information or something) I need to try a lot of new traffic methods.

I did a few test runs with Facebook Advertising on a very small budget. Everytime I modified the ad, my CTR improved but the highest CTR I got was 0.2% and no sales. I tried both PPM and PPC to see which brought a better CPC.

I still think FB ads have potential but I think I need to work on the target demographics and ad copy.

      Paid blog review.

Everyone knows that you paid your way in, not earned your way in.

Sucks for credibility building in the industry.
