Thoughts? I don't mind four dollars difference a month, that's a drink and a candy bar. but what is the BEST web hosting company that's more friendly to Wordpress.

        I think that it's wordpress that isn't very host friendly because of the amount of resources used, but I second Hostgator because they have been very helpful to me when I've had problems with Wordpress.

    I would recommend going with a larger hosting company a lot of IMers use such as Hostgator or Bluehost. The reason is when people are developing things to be sold to marketers such as Wordpress plugins or scripts they're usually tested with major hosts.

    You can avoid a lot of issues and the stuff you purchase will work right out of the box since chances are it was tested for compatibility.

    I use Hostgator and Betterwebspace. BWS have US and UK servers.

    The speed for using the Wordpress editing area is much faster with BWS - and faster still on their UK servers. I'm guessing the UK option wouldn't be appropriate for you as I'm guessing you're in the US.

      I use both Bluehost and Hostgator... between the two I'd recommend Hostgator. The support is incredible and they offer a wider suite of services.

        I recommend you bluehost because they have simple scripts,fantastico deluxe and alot of scrips that you can use to install wordpress very fast.And the price its good for the service.I mean its fair.
        Right now because i have no money im using 000webhost.com and then putting wordpress via ftp it works fine.When i make my first money online im going to use bluehost because like i said to you its very good.Its also noob friendly
