Hey, I am testing a landing page with an affiliate link and plan to test it as a FB PPC campaign. I was going to use $50 USD to test it and measure the conversion ratio at $0.50 a click (which was the recommended bid). What is would you consider to be a good conversion ratio? 3%?

    In my personal experience %3 is really good! In my specific niche I normally do 0.50%

    This is just something that cannot be answered. Every product has a different conversion rate that is why you have to test them. Plus if your traffic is highly targeted and coming from "buying keywords" your conversions will be different than general traffic from general keywords.

    rate is to test it with a limited amount of traffic.

    Once you have a baseline conversion rate, I strongly suggest
    that you set up a split test script to test and tweak your
    landing page to improve your results.

    I'd also recommend you test alternative traffic sources using
    a separate landing page for each traffic source. Then you'll
    be able to determine the optimum landing page and optimum
    traffic source.

      It definitely depends on the type of product you are promoting and how you are doing it. For example: I think CPA offers for Facebook smileys will convert more with Facebook ads. Entertainment related offers and freebies should get higher conversion than 5%.
