Quick facebook question...

At some point I saw, at the bottom of a posted photo, a thing that said, "to link to this photo outside of facebook, use this link..." then there was a hotlink to the photo.

Now I can't find a view of any photo that contains that at the bottom.

Any ideas?

Also, I created a poll on one of my fan pages. Is there any way to have a hotlink to the poll (only) that I can post as a link on other people's walls?

Any ideas?

I am trying to come up with some controversial poll question to get people to answer the poll when they see the hotlink to it on other walls (I have NO friends on the page where the poll is -- the page is totally new).

Thanks!

    Hey TW,

Yeah, they axed that functionality with the new viewer, but here is a workaround:

When viewing the photo, right click and copy the link used for "Download" in the menu.
At the end of that link, you will find "?dl=1" this triggers the file to be downloaded instead of displayed within the browser. Remove that from the url and you have your hotlink to the image.

    2) for direct linking to the post, it is hidden in the date stamp. Right click and save the hyperlink used on the datestamp and that is your hotlink for the individual post to the wall. Should also work for you poll post.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
