Squidoo Developed a Viral Twitter Cobrand!

Hi Warriors!

If you like to use both Squidoo and Twitter, then you'll want to try Twttrstrm - the new Squidoo cobrand that connects Twitter with Squidoo. It's not the basic "tweet your latest lens" deal - it's viral!

Here's how it works according to Squidoo:

"As your followers click through and respond, the storm spreads to their followers. So, in short, it's a threaded, viral, structured conversation in the middle of the Twitter melee."

It's a cobrand kind of like Monkeybrain for debates but although they bill it like that, you can use it anyway to spark a discussion or interest - it doesn't HAVE to be a question

So you go to TwttrStrm and create a Twttrstrm lens, right? Then once you hit publish, it'll take you to your page and it will have you make your first Tweet (which is your "question" that you post to your followers). Then you have the opportunity to answer the question yourself on your lens.

Your followers see your Tweet and THEY respond, Tweeting it to all of THEIR followers, but it posts on your lens, too! So THEIR followers participate and the beat goes on and on and on....

I like the viral element of it! But instead of a whole cobrand, I wish they'd just enabled this on all lenses.

Now what happened is I clicked on it, I was taken to your lens, LONG URL fyi isn't that funny? And I logged in and posted my reply to you. When I clicked the submit button, it took it to Twitter, where I approved the Tweet - and all of my 3k+ followers saw it with a link back to your lens.

I considered shortening the url but decided to leave it as it did look funny!

I just created my first Twttrstrm lens. It'll be interesting to see how this works.

Basically it's just a lens with Twitter functionality built-in via hash tags...
