Are The Warrior Posts Counts Not Working?

Hey Guys , Are any of you having problems with your posts counts? I have noticed my number of 885 has not moved for quite sometime. However, I continue to participate in the forum on a daily basis..

Thanks,
Jason

I never even pay attention to my post count. But yours just jumped from 884 to 885 during this posting. I would suggest posting something like this in the "Off Topic" forum

Posts in the WSO section don't add to your post count.

Your post count moved to 886

And Yea, posts in WSO threads don't increase your post count.

That must be something new, the only place I ever post is the WSO section. But I did notice the counts haven't been changing so I did a search and found this thread, good to know. I was noticing that some of the WSO sellers had 30+ posts in their WSO but seemed locked at a low total, like 1, for weeks. In a way it's good, then when someone sells a WSO you get to see how much they've been involved in the WF besides just selling their WSO. It came back to bite Antonio Banderas several times until his collapse at the end.

It is new, just happened a few weeks ago. Posts in the WSO forum prior to the change continue to count, but new posts are no longer counted.

This seems as good a place as any to wave a hand and say the administration and moderation of the Warrior Forum is pretty much the best I've ever seen in actual reality.

I have now watched the admins and mods do all three things great leadership needs to do.

      1. Change the rules that really need to be changed.
      2. Accept community guidance where appropriate.
      3. Resist community guidance were inappropriate.

We may disagree on where the line between 2 and 3 is sometimes, or what constitutes "need" with a rule change, but the leadership here knows where that line is and what "need" means... so they do a damn good job where a lot of other forums fail.

And if I remember correctly, the person who suggested not counting posts in the WSO forum had a rather low post count, too. The suggestion was given the merit it deserved, regardless of rank or longevity.

We have just about the best leadership on the internet. Don't underestimate how important that is.

I'm with Caliban on the excellence that the mods use to keep things ship shape.

I think the main thing is to ignore the post count and make useful contributions to the forum. This will pay off more in the long run.

Personally post counts mean nothing to me. What does is the consistency useful contributions members make. Doesn't mean I always agree with them, but it does help to understand why they do what they do.

A lot of great people here.

    Thanks,

    John

It came to my attention few days ago. I noticed that my posts on WSO section were not being counted. Initially I thought there was a problem with my account, but when I posted on the Forum it was registered. Then when I realized that changes had been made.
