How far can this niche go?

I have a niche that I am very passionate about everywhere I go and explore I was just wondering if it will go far, and can expand my online career? its Anime and Manga (Japanese Cartoons)

    All niches have plenty of opportunities but it all depends on what exactly it is that you want to do. Are you selling, creating, marketing, advertising, wanting to be an affiliate, building websites...... the list goes on...?

    I would think this is a very good niche and here is one reason - I know that many people bought their anime and manga from Borders and now they they are no longer in business, some people do not know where to go to get these.

      You might want to check out what in that niche you want to target. Like your key words. Research well and I am sure it would be great whatever you wanna do with your website. I personally do search for mangas at least weekly.

    Oh ok! thank you, I guess my plan is to get involved with as much as possible as of right now, I am a blogger on this niche and I am trying to use ads as my income. I also use squidoo to bring in some income with article marketing, and I am trying to get into amazon sale`s as well (affilate marketing). I just haven`t had the greatest success with my blog yet, So I know I need to improve on that. I do have another question though;

    Using a free Blogger.com platform compared to wordpress.com (Also a free blogger platform) which one is better to start making an income to start with? (I haven`t gotten to wordpress.org, yet because I am not sure that I am able to get on a level and commitment of that)

    I don't know much about this, but I do know it's very popular. It also has a kind of cult following, as opposed to being totally mainstream, which gives it good potential as a niche. You'd probably want to find some specialties within this niche, as I'd guess that terms like "anime" or "manga" are quite competitive.

    Very true , that Manga and Anime are both very competitive keywords, in fact, its extremely hard just getting one of them. SO I guess im going to go for some keywords that are in deeper in the niche, such as specific names of anime`s and manga`s. This post is getting me thinking thank you guys very much!
