178 users but they are not active!?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get most if not all my 178 members to be active on my forum? And website?

When you say members do you mean email list subscribers or something else?

If so then 178 is not really enough to launch a forum. It depends on how interested the audience is... sometimes you can get an active forum going with just a few hundred people. Other times you need thousands of unique visitors a month first.

If they are members of the forum then ideally you should also have them on an email list and email them letting them know why they should frequent the forum.

If they don't have any reason to frequent the forum then you will not get much interaction.

When I say members I mean members who signed up for my website, they paid a $19.99 fee to join.

Getting a forum going isn't easy. You do need high traffic or a way to put it in front of a lot of people.

Of the people who do sign up, more than 90% will never post, and that includes this forum.

      Can you email them?

If so... put up some kick --- training or free, high quality PLR to entice them back.

How about asking members to share their most successful ideas and offer a prize to the one or two you think are best?

Maybe a section in the forum where they can post jobs they can do or need to have done might help.

And do you have a thread where people are asked to introduce themselves? If so, it's nice to personally welcome each new member who posts in this thread, and encourage other members to welcome them as well.
