First, I jump into too many projects too quickly its a bad habit of mine.But...the only reason I want to talk about this is because it deals with article marketing and that takes time...and figured its something I can spend an hour a day on and at least get the ball rolling. The other project is a service I will be offering. So per another post of mine..I own http://www.healthytips.org Many members recommended getting content up on there ASAP. I figured it could be a mix of good content, an opportunity for article marketing, and also an opportunity to mix in some affiliate marketing assuming the content of my article allows for it. Then, I start coming up with article ideas...maybe rewrite articles I find (is this legit to do?), post them to my Blog/Wordpress (which is what healthytips.org will use). Then, begin submitting some of those trimmed down articles to Ezine, etc...with the resource box linking back to the individual blog post. An article / post may simply be good useful information or it may talk about a certain niche and promote an affiliate product. I would probably have some google ads on there, but also link to afiliate products in various places. The point though is to get the ball rolling from a CONTENT perspective since it could takes months to start seeing the site get any traction...versus getting through with my other product...which could be a month...and then starting this. Just seems like I could kill to birds with 1 stone on this since traffic takes a while to get. Any thoughts/suggestions on this game plan? |

Have you considered actually focusing on only one of the things that you have listed there? You have a great domain name there, and it would make a great niche site for those people who are looking for health and wellness related information. I would post only those types of articles/posts on that site, and move the others (make money, save money, job related, etc) to sites dedicated to those specific niches. On this site, you could easily post your articles on health related topics and at the bottom of each post place a link to a related affiliate product or service. If your article is written correctly, you could provide some valid and valuable information to the reader while gradually moving them in the direction of clicking on the affiliate link for more information. It's a soft sell that works well, and is a natural progression for the reader. If you understand what you're sitting on here, and take your time to do it right, you could easily develop a good long term passive income from the site. |

I don't see why not. But post them on your site first.

Hi All, So to provide a cliffs notes version how is this: 1. Setup Wordpress Blog on my domain, Lose Weight | Diet | Eat Healthy | Vitamins | Supplements | Healthy Tips 2. Install necessary plugins (all in one seo, etc...) 3. Find existing health topic articles that are popular. 4. Rewrite those articles 5. Consider adding fresh articles on my own as well as rewritten ones 6. Use Affiliate Elite to find popular clickbank/paydotcom products to promote in the respective health arena in conjunction with those articles. 7. Take my articles and rewrite a few good ones for Article Directory submissions to sites like Ezine.com 8. Promote resource box to link back to each respective article 9. Do promotion on twitter, other sites, squidoo lenses, etc... 10. Profit ![]() Thoughts? |

Your 10 steps are pretty good. But I started my domains using an article from ezinearticles.com or one of the other sites. I found the keywords that Google wants to see for your term. In your case, when you search "Healthy Tips" - look at the bottom of the page and it shows: Searches related to: healthy tips healthy tips for kids healthy eating tips healthy food tips healthy food pyramid weight loss If you put good artices on these topics on your site and be sure to TAG and CREATE CATEGORIES for each of those same keywords, then what I have had happen is that my BRAND NEW DOMAIN made it to page 1 of over 10 million results in a matter of 2 weeks. Be sure to go to Pingoat and Pingomatic AFTER EVERY POST!! And spread the posts out with your articles. It has now worked 2 times for me in the medical niche with no problems!! PM me how it works for you!! Wade |
