I've been reading a ton of posts about setting up a blog. I need to find a great resource or course that will walk me through every step. I know no html and this is my first attempt. Thanks in advance.

You can make a blog in a couple of clicks of the mouse. no html needed. You can use fantastico delux if your host has it. If you need any help setting one up pm me.

    good luck

I would tell you to use blogger.com and just post about something you like and then use adsense.

I think none of them are easy, or difficult. Like people said, practice make perfect.

But blogger is simpler and have less feature if you compare it with wordpress, I suggest you master both of them. Use wordpress for your main site and blogger to give backlinks to your site, or use it for experimenting a new niche.

The only problem with wordpress.com is that you cannot post affiliate links in them if I'm correct in saying, some day you may go to your blog and it wont be there no more. self host is the wat to go in my opiniun

blogger.com works very well for me. I hear from folks that it has less features than Wordpress but I haven't run across anything I might need that blogger.com hasn't made available.

I use it primarily for content, seo, and lead generation and it works out very well. Very simple to use and comes at my favorite price point: free!

I'm in the same boat nu2wf. I have set up a wordpress blog before. I can't remember the product I was following at the time as that was about a year ago. What I found odd about WP was that I could never really get the plugins to work correctly for me. I was ranked quite well in google, then i played with the plugin and bam gone. I don't know if I ever made it through the pages to find where I was placed.

I don't know if I helped at all but that was just my experience
