I'm sure you folks already know you are having tech problems here - but just a heads up on a few problems in case it helps to pinpoint them.

I just played hell getting in here - error message was that there were too many redirects. I thought it was my browser but tried 2 other browsers and nadda. I asked Kevin Riley if he could get in and he could......not sure if location has anything to do with that one......

So I thought I'd zap you a note at the helpdesk to tell you that was going on. Your captcha is not allowing posting. I had 4 different captchas and KNOW there as absolutely no misread on 2 of them. It wouldn't let me post.

I haven't been having these problems Sal. Sorry you're having such a hard time with the forum. Although, a couple of days ago, I kept getting logged out of my account for some reason.

Same thing was happening to me the other day also.

      Sal, "captcha" to post?
I've never seen that. Is it when you try to post without being logged in?

      Have a Great Day!

This happens to me quite often as well, as I'll write a post, go to post, and be redirected to log in again.

I've gotten in the habit of copying my post to clipboard, before attempting to post, so it's no big deal. I actually thought it was my 4G internet, but now I'm not so sure.

PS- as Johnny stated above, I am primarily using FF, and I know it's not meshing too well with my AVG anti-virus. Getting all kings of weird messages regarding memory usage, guessing it's time for a new anti-virus install, cause I am not gonna stop using FF!

Hmm, Sally this might be the same issue that was posted HERE

Although whilst I was having a hell of a time, its definitely been better the last few days.

Maybe flush your browser and reset to defaults, then try again?

The only occasional problems (every month or so) I've ever had here was when I couldn't access the forums with the ??? error message showing. Logging out (and sometimes having to clear cookies) took care of that.

Yeah, I got kicked out a few times a few days ago. But this was just plain inacessible. I thought it was MY browser but checked on several - cleared my cookies, scanned my computer, yadda yadda.

Like I said - I'm sure admin is aware there are problems, just wanted to report mine in case it helps them pinpoint them. I'm not a tech so I don't know if the info is useful or even relevant or not, but just in case............

Michael - I was logged in when I went to the help desk - it had a captcha to post.

That was the first thing I did was try chrome when my browser wasn't working. I'm not sure how redirect loops occur, but I've heard of being able to cause them by banning IPs or some such. That was years ago when I was taught how to drive my forum admin center so don't know if that still applies or not.

Robert - I am still using my FF - and, obviously, it still works. I don't think the problem is on our end.

Just thought I'd add; I use Google Chrome, and that's what I was using when I had the "getting logged out" issue a couple of days ago.
