Getting product reviews

Hi all,

I need to get some products reviews for a review site of mine. Whats the best way of doing this? Offer people a free copy to review?

    Offering a free copy usually tends to help others help you. People tend to be wary of products that have been untested as some of the claims out there do seem to be too good to be true. Other alternatives include selling the product for a fraction of the price or even using false reviews (I think there is a site somewhere that generates fake reviews for you! lol)
    Just a note though, if you are offering free trials of the product in a community, you may want to make sure you offer it to people who are long term members or members who have a high reputation in the forum. A review given by a new member tends not lend much weight :-)
