can some one pleae help me install WP-o-Matic ive uploaded it to my site but cant activated it. all is there another program what is better

When you say can't activate it, does it actually appear in your list of WordPress plugins?

I think what you really want is Feedwordpress another plugin that's used more then wp-o-matic and does the same thing.

Actually WP-O-Matic has quite a few more features than FeedWordPress, although you're correct in that essentially they do the same thing.

Not sure where you get the statistics for how much one is used against the other though.

There's also another 'up and coming' plugin that is looking really good called YAAB.

WP-o-matic is great if you can find a good source of keyword rich RSS feeds..

Does anyone know of any good lists of RSS feeds?

If you can't activate it because it doesn't appear in your list, check on this:

Lots of times the plugin is inside a folder (as it should be) that is again nested inside a folder of the same name. If you upload the folder-folder-plugin construct, WP won't be able to find the plugin.

You need to drill down to the last folder level (folder-plugin construct) and upload it that way.

In any case, provide more details if you can - without knowing exactly what trouble you're seeing, all we can do is 'guess'.

I have used WP-O-Matic, but I have stopped. I don't feel right about scraping articles from other's sites.

I helped my conscience somewhat by writing an introduction and a commentary about the article, and then quoted the article.

Am I using it wrong? Is there a moral element here? Let me know what you think.

I am trialing on a test blog at the moment. It's looking good so far and the latest version has features to rival WPOM.

BTW, I do also like FeedWordPress, just doesn't give me all the options I need.
