KICK ME IN THE BOTTOM - please read it - it's very essential for me!
OK. I'm doing it!
Although I don't cry I've been feeling for a long time like I needed a kick in the ass, so this thread would be burning my bridges. It might not seem a big deal to anyone, because frankly asking someone to kick you is just an excuse to not do it yourself. I know this. The point however is to get as much people read it so there is not going back for me, once I make it public.
So a little background is due.
Back in summer of 2000 I started the paid to -surf, -read emails, -surveys, etc. you name it. Immediately I started joining every program and created a website on a free host promoting them. Of course - typical story - nobody came... except my brother I think, but he wasn't the perfect referral - didn't make a dime from him.
By the start of 2001 I already knew a thing or two about IM (thanks to Terry Dean, a great marketer) and I built up my first "paid" website. Very soon I started making some affiliates, commissions, bought a few resale rights ebooks by Jimmy D. Brown and so it went. I had my own newsletter and I was basically just sending offers. Later on I'd create my own product, then some more resale rights, then some more products. Then I got into blackhat SEO. That's when things kicked in. Early autumn (September) of 2004 I had my first $10,000 month.
I remember I sat down onb my kitchen chair by the door and I thought to myself - things will never be the same again from this point on. Well, they got.
I got lazy, my sites got banned. But I was still making some money from my list so I didn't care (plus I was still in high school so who cares, right?!)... in 2006 when I finally decided that I need to start making money again I thought I'd "cheat" the system and create a magic bullet (coz I was so lazy) so I invested in a PLR site. Only 3 people ever joined - I still have the articles for the first couple of months. Again I was too "un-driven" to make it succeed. I just excused myself with - "well, you have to know when to let go... not everything is a winner"... How comforting that is!
Then in late 2006 I got back into SEO... I thought to myself - "well, it's the only thing you ever felt really motivated to work on (and I now know why!) so let's get you back there!"
And I did. I invested some money into developing this really powerful blackhat system, and things started to get going. I was working real hard - because it was the easy money, the magic bullet... You see the paradox here - I was working HARD for the EASY thing. Looking at it now - that's the thing that truly motivated me - the lazy approach, the "cheating the system".
Well, cheating a system such as Google can prove to be very hard. All money I was earning I invested back into further development. So by the time Google kicked my ass by closing every darn AdSense account I had, I was at $0.
Now, funny thing about Google is they purposely waited for me to develop my system so they can really study me very deeply (or at least that's what the clues pointed at!).
That took place in September 2007. Since then I've been whining and coming up with excuses.
That's about to change. There's no turning back. And that's where you come in, that's why I'm making it public.
Thanks!
P.S. I must admit I nearly stopped from posting it.
