FACEBOOK SHARE BUTTON CONTENT LOCKER

Hi, does anyone know where I can get a facebook Share button content locker? Not a Like button. The person would get to my page and have to share it to their facebook wall before they can access the content. This would be for a webpage and not a facebook app.

    So you want people to like & share your stuff before they actually see it?

    Thats not very nice!

    Why not try providing something useful that people would be willing to share of their own accord and not tricking people into sharing stuff before actually seeing your content.

    That would not be so effective. People come to a site to see what you have and if they like it, they will share it. Provide some value first then give them the option to share and spread your word.

      The content I plan on locking wouldn't be "hidden". They would know exactly what they would be getting when they share the button but have to share it first before receiving it.

      The add before they would go to my page would explain exactly what they would be getting. Its only after sharing that they would be able to receive it.

      What I saw had no flaw at all.. I got this idea when I received the same thing from someone else. I watched the pages view count sky rocket and go viral.

        The idea is Ok in my opinion.... I would advice providing some free text excepts from for example an e-book you want to give out free as a teaser to visitors before they click the share button to read the rest of the information.

          I have shared this numerous times with some of my frnds, it does exactly what you want, and it is in the FB documentation!!! If you use it in a creative manner, I have seen a site now running this script with ~300 users online, it can make $100/day easily and again it is all in the FB documentation!

          Facebook basically lays out exactly how to do this in their API and there is a page dedicated to this!

            Frank Haywoods Like+ does exactly that.

            I am not an affiliate and, although I have purchased it, I have not used it yet, I am still at the "ooh, another plugin I could use some when" stage.
            So search on here for it and make up your own mind if it's what you want.
