How many WSO's of the day are there

Seems like lately I am getting x amount of emails all purporting to have the WSO of the day.

Are there 2, 5 or 10 WSO's of the day per day?

You will find this information useful:

The average for right now is just under 30 new wso's per day.

Depends on how you define 'WSO of the Day' as it holds no official meaning on the forum.

I could go to a WSO thread and call it 'WSO of the Day' myself. I could call my own WSO 'WSO of the Day' too if I want.

So it is just clever marketing - I receive a number of emails with the headline shouting 'WSO of the Day for October 19, 2011' - makes it sound like it has been picked out as the best of the bunch for that day.

WSO of the Day is a term used by Mike Lantz the Owner of WarriorPlus.com
It is not Owned by Allen Says the Owner of the Warrior Forum.

There is Only One WSO of the Day from WarriorPlus.com

What you are most likely receiving are emails from affiliates promoting older
    WSO of the Day offers.

    Hope that Helps,
    Have a Great Day!
    Michael

edited: There may be two WSO of the Day offers. One Online WSO and one for Offline.
Thanks for the info Bill(tpw), I hadn't really looked at them lately to see why.

Sometimes Mike does two in one mailing.

He has at least been testing one online and one offline product in the same mailing.

        I've noticed that too.

It is a little more than I asked for when I signed up.

I've come this close |< ->| to opting out in the past few days but I'm
interested in if he'll keep it going or not...lol

If we want to cut hairs, he only does WSOTD 6 days per week. On day 7, it is a recap of the week.

I tend to agree with you... but it goes a little deeper for me because the whole concept loses some credibility in my eyes if there are 3 WSO's of the day.

Creating a WSO of the day is all about bringing you the cream of the crop and all of a sudden WSO's of the day are a dime a dozen - they are coming at you from all angles.

It might as well then be 'we are trying to promote the crap out of you and make it sound like we are bringing you the best of the best'

I just think the concept would have more cred if they selected high quality offers - and build some trust that they are good offers and not just offers they think will generate quick cash.

WSO of the Day is a phrase that was originally used by Mike Lantz. You will notice a lot of other people using it now since it tends to add some credibility to the product they are trying to promote. The emails you are receiving from marketers other than Warrior Plus are entitled to use the term and they may indeed be telling you what THEY consider to be the WSO of the Day. This will not always match with the opinion of Mike or other marketers.

I agree. Mike was actually quite smart in picking the term 'WSO of the Day' to use for his list. This means regardless of the WSO's that are available to choose from he does have to pick at least one of them - even if they are all crap. Lately I have noticed a few days that could only be described as 'slow news days' because the WSO's promoted were just rubbish.

I am surprised to see Mike promoting more than one offer in an email. I would have thought he would save the good ones for those days where there is nothing else worthy of promotion. I've heard Mike say before that he likes to promote those offers that are recently posted (for obvious reasons - more commissions) but I would much prefer to see a week old offer that is fantastic than a new offer that is crap. That's just my opinion though.

The only reason for having an offline AND online offer in each email is to increase sales and cater to a wider audience of people. If you are promoting an online offer then you are alienating all those offline marketers. If you are promoting an offline offer than you are alienating all those online marketers. By having one of each he is attempting to target more of the list and make more money.

        Who can blame him, right?
