What is considered the home page ai the editor at Wordpress ??

I know this is probably a stupid question that is obvious ,but I to have to add some meta tags to the home page of my editor at WP. Is that where it says home.php (home.php) ??

And is this where I also put google analyitc meta tags for tracking ?? On google it says put in every page you want to track ??

    Any meta tag should be in the <head> section of any website... and in WP the <head>...</head> section of EVERY post/Page is in the header.php template file of your active theme. The same file is used always (that's why it is called a 'template'), which means editing it manually will display the same meta tags on EVERY possible webpage of your WP-powered site.
