My Simple Traffic Steps To Generate Flood of Traffic and Steady

Hi Warriors,

I posted this because I think it could help to warriors here that has problem
in boosting their traffic.

I saw a post at http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...irections.html

He's asking for traffic ideas so I'll share it to you. Here's my response:

I think it's a good idea to blog your upcoming product so you can create a buzz before you launch it.

As for traffic, I suggest you do the following:
1. Bookmark your sites to several bookmarking sites (ex. digg, stumbleupon).
2. Use social networking like facebook to make a buzz.
3. Create a press release and submit it to press release sites.
4. Create several blogs in sites like blogger.com and wordpress.
5. Buy your own domain and put the traffic there.
6. Create several affiliate tools for your possible affiliates.
7. Create a viral reports to boost your mailing list, possible buyers and traffic.
8. Create several articles and submit it to article sites like ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com
9. Create videos that will promote your product and submit it to video sites like youtube.com
10. Start getting affiliates/partners and tell your product information and let them download some chapters of your report/audios/product that you created.
11. Make your site a search engine friendly site. Use SEO plugins if you're using wordpress.
12. Create comments to do follow blogs to gather several backlinks.


I feel I need to add more.

13. Ping your site frequently to sites like pingomatic.com or add ping sites to your wordpress.
14. Put several plugins that could help your site like addthis.com.
15. Post an article or blog post to your site once or twice a day if you can.
16. Always create a teaser that will capture attention. It's also a good idea to create a contest to your site.
17. Create a classified ads to sites like craigslist.com or ebay
18. Use a refer a friend or tell a friend script
19. Use email marketing that captures attention and let them forward it to their friends.
20. Use social community like egroups.com
21. Create freebies like reports, software, etc.
22. Create some posts to forums that relates your product and put your sig there.
23. Use giveaway sites.
24. Submit SOLO ads to large ezines
25. Use PPC if you have money but study it first.

Outsource everything if you can because it can save you time and we all know that we can't do it all. I admit that I can't even do it all in a day or two but when you do a plan you can make it in a month

And lastly, go to number 1.... wash .... rinse....repeat

Anyway it's really up to you to act and make it happen.

Ross, do you have any new sites you've created where you can share the traffic details as a direct result from the implementation of all (or part) of the traffic generation strategies you've documented for us?

Also, what are the top three most effective (targeted) traffic generation strategies (based on your experience) from the list you've provided?

Hi Clark,

Sorry, there is no new site as a sample but I did this on some of my past clients and it was a success. There is a confidentiality contract, so I will not reveal my client which is an SEO firm. I know you will understand because they are an SEO company and they don't like their client that I am the one who did it. Maybe they are afraid of being their clients goes to me directly. We never know, it's their business anyway. Hope you understand.

My top three are:

1. SEO with the help of unique contents
2. Viral Reports/Software
3. Article Marketing plus sending the unique articles to Egroups mailing lists that is related to your article/niche

Just check the list, relax and check if there is a point in my list that you think is valuable and if you feel there isn't then have a smile

No worries Ross, thank you for getting back to me.

Personally, although a list like yours in the OP is great to have, it can also be daunting to those who feel they have to check off each one to drive traffic to their sites.

I'm sure 80% of your traffic is coming from your top three traffic sources that you generously listed which is why I selfishly asked the question.

With that being said, I'm sure you spend the most time on all three above any other traffic generation tactic on the list... if not then read on...

Honestly Ross, if Viral Marketing is kicking the snot out of Article Marketing for you then you have a goldmine at your fingertips if you can intelligently explain in a new thread the "how & why" with the motley crue of cynics here.

I'll keep an eye out for it

The impact of having a traffic generation list is very important to me that is why I was focused on it. I also love to see other people's techniques and always improve system.
