Get off your monkey butt and work it baby

I have done some time really scouring this forum this past weekend. I am here every day, but usually just scan the forum for 2 things:

Post titles that look of interest to me and my business

Post titles about something I know about asking a question. (to answer)

For the first time in a while I spent time looking at almost 2 pages worth of threads, looking at each one. I have to say, there are some really GREAT posts here, and a lot of great questions along with, more importantly, great answers.

I know everyone lately like to piss and moan about this-or-that, but come on... the main forum alone has so much damn good info that if anyone took any of the ideas and strategies talked about and implemented just one, some of you would not have the time to be bothered with the small % of junk posts here.

I won't even mention the War Room which kicks ass, but the main forum alone in conjunction with the smaller sub forums(yeah, there is more than just the general discussion here) and of course the "search" button can literally have you making money in no time.

I am not trying to be a jerk here(although I can be good at it), I am just being realistic. Take a look at some of the posts asking legitimate questions, then take a look at the answers. Look at the times the answers were posted. Almost immediately!!

Of course in order to have questions you need to be doing something. So what have you got to lose? Stop worrying about the petty schoolgirl crap that is nothing but a blip on the WF radar, and put all of that concentrated effort into developing your first product, implementing an affiliate campaign, researching a niche...something.

I guarantee you with the time you save from 'moving' on and not getting caught up in the soap opera's you can be making money.

I can't lie, this forum and the people within it rock. If it wasn't for this place there would be a lot of IMers still spinning their wheels wondering why they can't make squat online(myself included).

Following the above worked wonders for me, maybe it will work for you.(unless you are not here to make money and really like the drama)

You don't need to change the forum...you need to work it baby.

ps: I feel better now. In hindsight I guess this is one of the posts I mention above not to get wrapped up in, so no drama.

You're pretty smart for a monkey butt kinda guy.

Hey Keith I agree with you that too many people don't try to apply what they have been reading here.

Folks, the secret that you have been looking for is called "Do Something".

Just don't make it too expensive. Put a free page together. Write an article.
It doesn't matter how many questions you ask or how many ways you ask the same question, the bottom line is sooner or later you are going to have to get off your "monkey butt" and do something.

I hope it's sooner for your sake because after you take action and you get something done and you're still alive to tell about it, you're going to be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner.

Whew, now it's time for me to go rest my money butt.

Absolutely. At one point I was so afraid to do anything because I was afraid I needed to know more, which led to more and more etc. Once I just said "screw it" and did something, I failed. But I learned, asked some questions and then good things began to happen.

I did literally kick myself for waiting so long thinking I had to know 'everything'. (ok, I had my wife kick me, but you get the idea)

Yes fear is the key here. Too many people really don't know or want to know that failing is part of the process. Like you said "I failed. But I learned, asked some questions and then good things began to happen".

That's the time to come in here asking the questions because it's only after you fail that you know what questions to ask.

My advice to anyone struggling with this kind of fear would be go out into the world of live people and stand toe-to-toe with someone and sell something. Once you get over the fear of standing in someone's doorway and they slam the door in your face and the world doesn't come to an end, you can come back online and see just how easy this is.

YES, strategic action is the key to overcoming fears and success.
